We have been trying to get kitchen cabinets installed but Joe has been totally unresponsive to calls and text messages. We have been moved into our new apartment for over a month and we still do not have a kitchen to use. Everything is relying on these cabinets to be installed to finish. We have no stove to cook on. We cannot install our kitchen plumbing. We cannot use our washing machine because it does not have a sink to drain to dump into (the appliances are all under the cabinet or countertop). We have heard excuse after excuse of why he cannot make any dates. Tire is flat, engine burnt up while bringing the "cabinets", he doesn't have straps for his trailer, he is too tired, the power went out. I have NEVER heard so many excuses in my life. We were convinced the cabinets were not even complete. We ask for pictures but received none. It is very sad to me that this kind of service even exists! Our project is still NOT complete, and we need this done ASAP!

Joe is a nice guy and a heck of a talker. Unfortunately, the work he did on our kitchen has been a disaster. Working with Joe is impossible. He never returns calls, and then comes up with a million reasons to cancel an appointment. My wife and I have a text chain that is laughable. The finished product was rushed and poorly done, specifically the cabinet doors, though most of the work was shoddy at best. Supposedly the doors were to be custom made, but they were not. Joe kept telling us reasons for their delay. The best was that he needed another coat on them. When he finally came to install them, they were completely unfinished. 2 months after install, we still have crooked doors, the paint he rushed on is bubbling, and we are already planning to redo this in a couple of years. Joe has promised several times to come fix everything but has never followed through. I expect we’ll never see him again and in some way it’s a relief. All I can say is that we learned exactly what to and not do when we hire someone to fix this mess.

We decided to go with Boisvert in May 2021 for a new front desk, cabinets, and three work stations and countertops. Initially the owner was great and it seemed like the project was in good hands. However the owner Joe becomes completely unresponsive and does not notify you when he plans to do the work. When he did do the work (custom desk and counters) it was the wrong size counter and desk. Whenever we tried to get him to fix things that were wrong the excuses started to pour in. He cancelled over 6 times with every excuse imaginable. Things happen and that’s understandable but once he gets your checks he will cash them and make things very difficult. The craftsmanship of the work is sub par and I do not recommend Boisvert Woodworks to anyone. Your project will take 6-9 months longer than he tells you and most likely won’t even finish. Our job is still not completed and the owner is still holding onto our office key. Stay clear and trust me when I say I wish I had seen the reviews before because it is a horrible situation to be in.

Currently devastated – I put eight mirrors in the hands of a very capable carpenter. I have had many successful phone calls leading up to the point where they will not return my call I have no idea where mirrors from my mothers estate are and I have left messages almost weekly for the last several months. Most calls go unanswered I am currently concerned and I am not sure I could recommend this experience to anybody else. Having lost my mom and now feeling i I will also lose precious possessions is a horrible feeling. Please disregard the completion date below because I have no idea when this project will be over or if I will ever be reunited with my mothers possessions.

We hired Boisvert Woodworks to build us a custom bookcase in 2017. Joe & Kim were very professional from beging to end. Project was on schedule as promised. We are very happy with the final product. Great Job!

Joe was great to work with on my project. Needed custom size cabinets due to location. He matched color of furniture pice in dining room. Quality of project was amazing. Joe was extremely responsive to my questions throughout the entire project. Would hire him again for my next cabinet project. Thanks for a great experience Joe!!!!

Boisvert Woodwork, LLC does exceptional custom work. They can do anything from the simplest cabinet to a complete custom kitchen. And, they can build furniture, or can restore great grandmas old furniture. :)
