We found Black & White online and set up a meeting, Carly was very professional and gave us some great input that put me at ease immediately. The advantage that in conjuction with One Studio they were able to make a 3D rendering so we could visualize our ideas and make some tweeks before making any final decisions or commitments. We had a long and complicated wish list and Carly broke it down for us so we could decide what was a priority to keep within budget. The project began ahead of schedule. Some of the things included in the project was the facade with a new entryway, floors throughout the house, laundry room and one of the bathrooms along with some other smaller areas like new windows, doors, closets and fixtures throughout. I loved how he would give a weekly summary of how much was done, you would pay for completed work as it went. Not like other companies were you have to keep shelling out money and see no progress. Black & White is composed of an all around complete team with specialists in just about every field. For any other details he had plenty of people he would recommend. For example Ingrid Lacen for interior design was helpful on details like light fixtures, tiles etc. She went shopping with me and on other occasions did it for me, offering great services for reasonable fees. Carly and his team work fast and clean. They paid great attention to make sure my neighbors were not inconvenienced. I would drop in and surprise them now and then and you could see the professionalism and workmanship. I am a bit of a perfectionist and they would fix the tiniest details even after the project was done. In the end everything turned out beautifully. The house even looked bigger without adding any square footage to it by improving it's layout. Thanks to Carly and his team our house transformed completely.

Having recently moved from San Francisco CA, I was unsure of what to expect from a renovation project in Puerto Rico. I began my search and initially found Black and White Diversified on Houzz. I then researched them a bit more and found they had a great web presence with 5 star reviews and images of previously completed projects. This is something you come to expect from businesses in California but is very rare in Puerto Rico, so I knew Black and White was a step above right from the beginning. I booked an appointment to meet Carlos months in advance when I knew I'd be traveling to PR from CA and he was right on time when the day came. He was extremely easy to talk to and during the initial planning meeting I knew I wanted to work with him. I was still living in California leading up to the project as well as for the first few weeks of the renovation, but to my surprise it was no issue whatsoever. Black and White introduced me to Ingrid Lacen, a designer who was able to help me shop and select all the paint colors and tile materials. Between using whatsapp with Carlos and facetime with Ingrid while she shopped, it was all so easy! During the renovation, the team showed up bright and early and on time every single day. They were hard working and very friendly from day one until the project was completed. Carlos was able to work with all of my ideas and often would present ideas I hadn't thought about. He and his team are a total exception in their field of work. They are smart and creative and were able to handle all the curve balls we sent their way during our project. I absolutely love the finished result of the house. The attention to detail in the herringbone tile work is beautiful and I am still amazed that Carlos was able to bring out all of my Californian design tastes. We get so many compliments on the finished product (even from Puerto Ricans) and we truly feel at home! I highly recommend Black and White Diversified with no hesitation! Thanks Carlos and team!

Contact them via facebook. Visit for quote within days. We agree to a contract for improvements in my house backyard. Mr. carion is a professional in hos business. Extremly responable and rehsponsive. The ctract includad a detailed description of the steps and the price for each. No desposit was requested for the commencement of the work, always a good sign. All the invoices and chage orders were as detailed as the original quote.

Prof work, good attitude employees, clean and rapidly work in a complete change in our bathroom and master room. I recommend it.

Black and White Diversified with the leadership of Eng. Carly Carrion, where able to: 1- Perform on site assessment of the project needs (work included: facade improvements, total kitchen remodeling, new access and division doors, and other things) 2-Present to me different options with different costs in order for me to evaluate, 3- Present a 3D conceptual design of the option that I chose to be able to visualize how was going to look after constructed, 4- Complete construction on time and with really good communication (weekly progress reports) 5- Final product exceeded expectations. Really happy!

I contracted Black and White Diversified to remodel my roof terrace and they did a GREAT job. Carlos and his team are very professional and knowledgeable. They are bilingual so we did not have any problems communicating. The company resolved any problems and were quite organized and timely. I would definitely use them again as they do quality work at reasonable prices. Additionally I will recommend them to my friends and others that relocate to Puerto Rico.
