Cici Crib – The story of the little crib shop around the corner that became the design destination dedicated to transforming your entire “Crib”. 15 years ago, owner, Christina Ishida , had a vision. With her passion for original, high quality décor, she scoured antiques dealers, estate sales, flea markets, art shows, and auctions to feed her visual soul. Eventually, she realized she had an abundance of beautiful, vintage pieces, many of which were geared towards the preciousness of childhood. Thus, the sweet, petite Cici Crib was born. Growing up in a family of successful artists, Christina’s aesthetic talents came naturally. Her endless hours as a child decorating a hand-made dollhouse fueled her appreciation for transforming a plain room into a WOW space. As Christina’s loyal customers realized that she could advise them on more than gifts and décor accessories; she could actually put whole rooms together inspired by a piece or a special interest of theirs, Cici Crib began to transform into a décor and decorating workshop. Now a full service home décor business, Cici Crib Interiors strives to adapt to clients’ needs according to their style, be it elegant, whimsical, classic, or modern. Christina thoughtfully listens, bringing her design sense to the project, while making sure the process is always exciting and personal. Time and budget considerations are always taken into account when creating a design plan. Refinishing and recycling previously owned pieces, combined with customization using interesting fabrics, furniture, placement, color, lighting, art, and construction materials, tie together to give each home a cohesive and highly individualized stamp. When Christina is not designing your dream space, you can find her in the kitchen whipping up creative sweets. Christina has been baking her entire life and has turned this second passion of hers into a side career as she is the main pastry chef at Senti Restaurant & Wine Bar in Lawrenceville. I worked with Christina on a kitchen, family room, and front hall project. She was a joy to work with and has a wonderful aesthetic eye. She quickly grasped my style and put together the look I wanted but wasn't sure how to achieve. Her selections were thoughtful, fit beautifully in the space, and elevated the pieces I already had. I love the finished product and I look forward to working with her again on my next project.

Christina is easy to work with. I like how she has an option to just pay her by the hour. That way, there is no pressure to buy anything. She gave me good advice, and helped me make a decision when I was completely overwhelmed.

We have known Christina for several years and she has been invaluable in helping us decorate our home and our vacation home. Christina took the time to really get to know us and our lifestyle so much so that we consider her to be a part of our family. This is evident in the spectacular designs she has done for us. Her delivery in both of these homes has far exceeded our expectations. When we first saw the finished product in our vacation home it simply took our breath away.....and still does today. Remodeled foyer including staircase, paint color and decorations. Remodeled main floor powder room. Assisted with cabinet refacing and paint color for light kitchen remodel. Christina is kind, patient and has a beautiful vision. She is a true professional and a perfectionist. She wants everything to be perfect and will not rest until it is to a high standard. I very much enjoyed working with her and genuinely appreciated all of her efforts in revitalizing our home.

Christina is a fantastic designer who "gets it". Her endless enthusiasm, creativity and professionalism made the whole process so easy for us. Christina respected our budget and was always on time. Her design took our space from boring to gorgeous. It feels like the well loved home we wanted. She presented us with furnishings, fabrics, colors, lighting etc. that was 100% exactly what we wanted.

We hired Cici Crib Interiors to design the interior of our restaurant, Senti, in Pittsburgh. We wanted a modern, sophisticated look. And that is what we got. The design is minimal and stark with clean white walls offset by a large, dark purple wall highlighting world class artwork. Christina stayed within our tight budget, and she finished well within the deadline of our opening. She designed a sleek, golden bar in the center of the restaurant that glows when lit and creates warmth within the minimalism. The resulting look of the restaurant was beyond our expectations!

As an artist who has had the pleasure of working with Christina, I can honestly say that she is visually gifted, as well as the consummate professional. I observed her work her magic on many decorating projects, transforming rooms into special and welcoming spaces. She always creates a fresh and clean space, yet with the client's personality shining through. She listens to her clients, then researches diligently to make sure she can provide an original to the owner space. One-of-a-kind for sure.

Christina and her staff at Cici Crib Interiors are wonderful!! They listen to what you want and guide you in the right direction. They don't push products that are above and beyond what you want to spend. After working with Christina to decorate my daughter's room she has gotten to know what I like/don't like and is now helping me in other areas of my home. Kommenteret: what color is the islandHi Allycin The colors of the cabinets were stock colors. The island cabinets are a dusty blue and the perimeter cabinets were a very light gray, almost white. I hope that helps you with your project!
