We are also a resource center to home base decorators and designers in our area. Design Line Studio is passionate about creating inspiring room ideas and plans for our client’s that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional while minimizing the user’s environmental footprint. By drawing from our extensive experience decorating beautiful homes and focusing on each client’s personal vision and goals, we are able to deliver and create spaces that matter. It is our goal, at Design Line Studio, to make the design experience positive and pleasurable at each phase of the project. To that end, we are a single source design studio that can meet all our clients’ home décor needs from start to finish ending with our door to door delivery service. As a starting out interior decorator myself, I needed some guidance on how to purchase wallpaper and how to coordinate delivery. Thankfully, Pamela at DLS was there to help a fellow decorator out. Her product knowledge and relationship with reps allowed me to fast-track my order and truly have it come to me with ease! We will be working together on all my projects in the future!

We renovated our main floor with Pam’s guidance and expertise. She has an innate ability to pull together all aspects of a reno resulting in a finished product that we could not envision, but feels more like us each day. Pam is very client focussed - she goes the extra mile.

Pam Byer, of Design Line, worked with us to renovate the main floor of our home. This included a complete overhaul of the kitchen, as well as new furniture, layout and decor of our family room and paino room. Pam prepared a complete visual presentation of her design vision for the main floor, which was a great help in determining at the outset what colours, tones and materials we wanted to use. She assisted us in every step of the design process, from designing the rooms to choosing faucets to selecting the final touches of artwork and objects of interest. Pam excelled in keeping track of the varied timelines for deliveries, payments, etc and checked in with myself and the jobsite, and the contractors regularly. The job was done on schedule, on budget and with minimal “bumps” due to Pam’s organization and forethought. We love the final result and receive compliments regularly from our guests. We would definitely work with Pam, and Design Line, again!

I worked with Design Line Studio on a recommendation from a friend. I was to say the least very overwhelmed with the process of renovating my house. I was a neophyte in regards to house design and needed a helping hand and guidance from a knowledgeable person in the industry. I was partnered up with Pamela Byer. I met Pam when she came to my house to have an initial meeting. She instantly put me at ease and was able to patiently listen to my thoughts. She soon came up with a detailed, easy to comprehend vision of what I was looking for when designing my first floor, which included a kitchen, family room, dinning room and library space. Pam was able to work around my hectic schedule and was very accommodating. She was professional and I felt confident in her knowledge and as a bonus she was very easy to get along with and kind. Pam made the process very easy. We were thrilled with the end result, loving absolutely everything. I have recommended her to others and speak highly of Design Line Studio. In fact we have a basement renovation needing to be done and i am going to return to Pam for her vision once again. This is the only company i will use as i have 100% trust in them.

I've enjoyed the honour of supplying custom upholstery to Design Line Studio since they opened their doors years ago ~ continuing the more than 20-year relationship I've shared with both Pam and Jill throughout their design careers at one of the finest home furnishings retailers Toronto ever had. These talented ladies are not only experts in their field but administratively are a pleasure to work with. Given the myriad facets to interior design, they both keep their finger on the pulse of current trends and always strive to tailor their efforts harmoniously and seamlessly with each and every individual project they're working on. I would consider myself highly fortunate to be able to work with either Pam or Jill as a client.

Pam from Designline has been very helpful. She listened to what I wanted and had many suggestions. Her help with paint colours to picking out furniture has been professional and creative which was what I was looking for. She's very speedy and courteous at communicating. I would highly recommend her and Designline.

Last year I was fortunate enough to find Jill, a professional interior decorator who was able to guide me comfortably through the stressful task of updating the entire living room area in our home. Jill suggestions of colour, décor, style, materials were always just that…suggestions and in no way did I ever feel pressured into accepting every idea but I realized quickly that we were on the same page. I was confident that when throwing all these things together they would work and they did. We were over the top with the awesome results so when I needed to have 2 slipcovers made for the swivel chairs at the cottage this spring Jill was there for me with her samples in hand the day after calling her. Together we found the perfect material and colour that would compliment the knotty pine wood on the walls plus accent the existing furniture up there. We’re both very pleased with the chairs as they have new life in them and we’ve had numerous compliments. Thanks Jill and looking forward to our next project together. Bev and Lance

Jill was very friendly, knowledgable and professional. Jill came to our home on a few occasions, listened to our ideas and made recommendations of her own. She provided us with many fabric choices for our furniture and window coverings. On her final visit, she advised about placement of furniture and artwork. We are very happy with our final choices. Jill and Design Line Studio are a pleasure to work with.

We are very happy with the service and expertise provided by Design Line Studio. My husband and I have different tastes in home decor and Pamela has found a way to bring our ideas together so we are both happy. We can see and feel the quality of our beautiful, new furniture purchased through Design Line Studio. Their showroom is well worth the visit. We highly recommend this designer.

Family/great room project. Our kitchen had been renovated a few years ago but our adjoining family room really needed to be updated on a moderate budget. We hired Pamela Byers, from the Design Line Studio and the collaborate process began. We had very nice pieces that needed to reupholstered and Pamela was able to take our inspiration photos and translate it to our family room on our budget. She was more than willing to help us find the perfect fabrics that would work for the space and the feeling that we wanted to achieve. Once the fabrics were determined, her design expertise helped us add both new lighting and finishing pieces that made this our favourite room to gather as a family. Pamela was very experienced, thoughtful and resourceful. She met and exceeded all of our expectations. Would re-hire on subsequent projects and have referred to my friends.
