Working with Jen was a great pleasure. Before engaging her - we went through a very disappointing experience with an architect who just kept bringing cookie-cutter drawings with no resemblance to our discussions. Jen listened to our dreams with great empathy. She didn't expect us to "know" what we wanted; she understood we were "users", not designers; that we had 'feelings' but not specific 'dimensions' in mind. She truly owned the designing experience; sketching and re-sketching countless ideas; patiently walking us through pros and cons of various options; telling us about their budget and 'practicality' impacts; researching endlessly for products that fitted both our budget and desires - until at last we arrived to truly breath-taking cathedral-ceiling addition and curb appeal upgrade that are truly a "dream come true" home. We couldn't be happier with the outcome; we've been enjoying our wonderful new home for 18 months now and we still wouldn't change an inch. .

I've used Ebel Design Group for two projects over the last 5 years - a basement recreation space, with built-in cabinets, fireplace and tile surround, and a home office that was in dire need of space planning and organization. I had a choice of brilliant, top quality materials I wouldn't otherwise have had access to. The attention to detail and expert advise I got from Jennifer helped me to avoid costly mistakes, and made my living and working areas safe, comfortable, and a joy to be in. It was tough to stay in budget because the upgrade options were awesome!

We used Ebel Design to design, source and select the tiles and paint color for our new bathroom renovation project. Jennifer Ebel transformed our outdated bathroom to a new elegant bathroom . She spent many hours visiting numerous tile shop with us till we were fully satisfied with the quality and design of tiles. She visited our home during the renovation to make sure the work was done to specification.
