Everything we create is made by hand using high-quality reclaimed wood. The repurposed material we use provides one of a kind character, allowing for the creation of truly unique pieces. Our aim is to produce quality, upscale well-designed work with a sharp attention to detail. We make reclaimed, tables, desks, cabinets, bookshelves, and anything in between. If you are interested in commercial or interior design work, let us know. We can build you a bar, a checkout counter, displays or panel your walls with reclaimed wood--anything your space needs, we can create. In addition to creating a full line of premade standard size reclaimed wood picture frames, we also operate a full-service frame shop in our Chicago studio, where we can design and build frames in any size. We have a well-curated collection of rotating frame samples and offer archival framing options. FoundRe offers a variety of frame styles, including mosaics, shadow boxes, framed mirrors, and fillets. We also make one-of-a-kind clocks, boxes, shelves, and lamps. We sell our home goods throughout the country and even abroad. The Artisan's Bench

We asked Raun to do a rush order for a large amount of frames we needed within a week. He worked through the weekend and got the order out for our opening. Always a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Colin The Artisan's Bench

I had 3 custom wood benches built to match existing 7ft and 10ft communal tables at my restaurant. The design process and turn around time were very quick. High quality and very durable thus far. They were able to match the wood to keep the aesthetic consistent which was very important. Also had a wood dining room table top and custom built in shelving made for my home. We gave some direction and then Raun took some creative liberties that ended up working really well! Very happy with both, tons of compliments on the built ins from everyone that comes over. I would definitely recommend Raun and Foundre for a home or commercial project... The creative input and execution are great. Pricing is not cheap but it's competitive. Most importantly they're easy to collaborate and work with.

Raun built custom reclaimed wood mantel and kitchen floating shelves to meet our transitional aesthetic. He provided design guidance, local old growth timber, hardware and installation. My husband and I own Antique Taco and daily people asked who made your bar or who made those tables. The answer is Raun at Foundre he has been our guy since the day we opened. We call our restaurant his showroom b/c he has helped us with the design process every step of the way. We have been open for around 3 years so when we got the go ahead to expand a private event space above the restaurant Raun was the first call me made. He designed all the tables, ceiling, wood wall, shelves, etc. We love his work and feel we can trust him with brining our ideas to life.

Centered By Design

I've worked with Raun as the buyer for a local home decor and artwork store. He made custom frames in a variety of sizes and colors for us. He always hand delivered the frames and was on-time with his orders. He has a great eye for color and excellent skills in woodworking! As an interior designer, I can't wait for one of my clients to need a custom project - I would certainly hire Raun for the job.

I hired Raun/Foundre for a few projects in my home--I had a sideboard made for my dining room-it is the statement pieces that gets noticed right away! He also did a really cool install of found wood on my stairs. Very cool and interesting. Doors to my laundry room hiding electrical and a washer and dryer--make doing laundry actually not so bad! Kommenteret: Boarded WallReclaimed wood was edged/planned/squared and then attached using brad nail fasteners. Each piece was cut to size and selected carefully to create the overall balance.

Kommenteret: How did you mount this mantle?I made a wooden cleat. One side is mounted to the back of the mantel and the other to the wall. You can also purchase similar mounts. I would use strong wall anchors into the brick. http://www.homede...
