We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our project! Bruce Gingrich of Glenn Gingrich Designs was hired to redesign and build our front door/entryway to our home. Our house was built in the late 1980's and our double door entrance was in dire need of an update. No doubt that Bruce was the man for the job. He took his time getting to know us and our personal style. He presented us with several design options and met with us multiple times. Bruce is thoughtful, artistic and detail oriented. The end result exceeded all of our expectations. Bruce designed us a beautiful custom door/entryway that has become the focal point of our home. Furthermore, his foreman, Daryl, respected our home and our privacy during the project. His high quality work and attention to detail does not go unnoticed. We will absolutely use Glenn Gingrich Designs again for our future home renovations.

One of the best decisions we have ever made was to have Glenn Gingrich, Inc. design and totally rebuild our home 11 years ago. We met with Bruce based on the strong recommendations of two of our neighbors. Gingrich, Inc. had done major renovations on their homes and we were struck when both neighbors said essentially the same thing: “We would be hard put to find something to complain about.” Eleven years and a beautiful new home later we are saying the same thing. Bruce Gingrich is an extremely talented designer-builder. He is also a great communicator who asked detailed and appropriate questions about our lifestyle and vision. This questioning allowed us to really clarify our wants and needs. It also continued throughout the entire process as he supported us in designing every aspect of our home. While our initial thoughts were for a ‘renovation’, after extensive discussion we decided to have our 25 year old Cape Cod demolished and to build a new home. Friends and family all wondered how we could make such a dramatic move but the answer was simple – we had seen Bruce’s work and were completely confident in our choice. In exchange for our confidence, Bruce and his highly proficient team delivered a creatively designed, elegantly constructed home that truly is customized to fit our lifestyle. We moved out of the house on Valentine’s Day 2005, and returned to a completely finished, beautifully crafted new home just 3 ½ months later on Memorial Day. Our neighbors watched every step of the construction frequently stopping in to observe the work and progress. They marveled at the speed and efficiency with which the project proceeded. For that, we credit Bruce’s site manager, Darryl. He supervised the entire operation and kept the process flowing smoothly. He and Bruce made sure every detail was perfected. After our master bedroom suite and bathroom was painted, I called Bruce to say how nice it looked. He informed me he had just seen it and it was actually not the shade of green we had selected. He was concerned that it would be a hard shade to match accessories so he had it completely redone! This is just one small example of his attention to detail and his dedication to providing his customers with the highest quality job. Working with Bruce and Darryl was so easy because it was obvious they wanted our home to be as exceptional as we did.

When you have ever heard someone say that their contractor/builder always exceeded their expectations? Well that is the case with Bruce at Glenn Gingrich Design. I have done multiple projects and renovations with Bruce. He gutted the first floor of my home and designed and built our kitchen, den, library and foyer. He also finished our basement, built out our bedroom, put on our porch and designed and added a master bath. He exceeded expectations every step of the way. His vision is exceptional and his work is beautiful. He is joy to work with and his foreman Darryl is one of the best parts of working with Bruce. I started working with Bruce 7 years ago and am thrilled and quite honestly, I am picky and particular. I could go on and on but lastly wanted to mention that Bruce stands behind everything he has ever done in my home. Even the littlest issue and he is responsive and "on it". I feel luck to have found him...and Darryl ;).

We hired Bruce to update a 57-year old split house. We ended up with a renovated kitchen and a two-story addition housing a master bedroom suite and a home office. Bruce focused on how our busy family of 5 used the existing space and improved upon what we had and identified what to add. The results were fantastic and changed the way we live in the home. We moved out for three months and moved back on the exact day Bruce said we would. His creative ideas, quality workmanship and on time delivery made the process a positive experience. We are looking forward to bringing him back for a second project to renovate a screened in porch.

Bruce is a VERY talented designer that creates beautiful projects, without giving up functionality! Above all, what has impressed me the most is that his customers look to him as their advisor, not just a contractor!

Several years ago we selected Bruce to construct our costume house in Lancaster. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. Bruce and his team did an addition of a master suite and converted the laundry room into a wet bar in our split level home. Bruce was recommended to us by a neighbor and we could not have been happier with the process, from start to finish. During the design phase, Bruce asked extensive questions to get a sense of how we live so that he could design a space that would work best for us, specifically. He brilliantly balances offering his expert advice while respecting the clients' preferences. The project overall went very smoothly, and when we did have problems, Bruce came to us with the problem, but also with several potential solutions. He communicates effectively and we felt incredibly well taken care of throughout the process.

We had an excellent experience with Bruce Gingrich, the designer and builder who took us step by step thru the remodel process. We have used other remodel companies and none compared to his. From the get go -he communicated in a way where he listened to what we wanted, gave us easy to visualize plans and contributed new ideas to keep our budget in line. He used all the tools available on the computer to create an exact comprehensive design plan. We enlarged rooms by removing walls, added built in cabintery, banquette seating with custom built table, a full bath, custom woodwork, kitchen island, laundry facility, custom doors, enclosed porch, enclosed walkway to garage, garage renovation, new siding, and much more. We worked with them on additional work as we lived in the house and it was a pretty painless experience. I am very fussy about neatness and they were great. It was amazing to see our outdated downsize house change to a modern efficient beautiful space to call home. We had the same good experience with his team of carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc. All involved were exceptionally skilled in their own expertise. Daryl his foreman was not only a very skilled carpenter, but had an easy personality which made the experience less daunting and a happier remodel. Daryl organized the men-scheduling workers so every part of job was completed on time. Thanks to hiring the right people we were not only able to move into a home that is customed design to feel like us but the best part it even came in within the budget. They didn't skimp on quality either. The materials they used from plumbing fixtures to lighting fixtures were all top quality. Bruce also supplied us with recommendations for landscaping and we were very pleased. We highly recommend this design builder remodel company. You will not regret it. We have used them for other work since remodel and plan to use them in the future.

Gingrich Design is by far the top home design company in the Susquahanna Valley. Bruce and his staff were hired for many jobs over the past 10 years. Giving our home a unique custom look to our cookie cutter neighborhood. From crown moulding, lighting, shelving, office makeover and even a full one of a kind screened in porch, Bruce surpassed all expectations. My wife and I will definitely use Gingrich Design for all future home projects. A five star rating for this company.

I've used Glenn Gingrich Design to put on an addition, fix the roof and remodel the kitchen. Every project has gone smoothly and finished on time (once despite 36" of snow!).
