Gina was excellent at follow-through. She stayed on our project until it was done to our satisfaction. She listened to us and then came up with a plan that matched our needs. She is flexible and modified her ideas per our requests. She helped us plan to maintain our plants. She has good ideas on irrigation and trimming and everything else that goes into long time care of our landscape. She immediately replaced and changed any plants that didn't work out.

Gina was a pleasure to work with. She made the most of our limited space. We love entertaining outside. All of our friends love our yard as well. We feel so much at home and enjoying our new landscape every day. With the design this will be year round enjoyment. Thank you Gina.

Just in Thyme professionally landscaped our Los Gatos home. The gardens matured to a most colorful rotating palate and variety. The curb appeal was off the charts and we received many compliments. Care was taken in plant selection and drip irrigation which helped in decreasing our water consumption. Gina is to be highly recommended.

We really enjoyed working with Gina this last spring/summer and now have a terrific front yard thanks to her creativity, diligence, and positive prodding. She worked with us on defining a palette of plants and her deep knowledge of native plants was super helpful in replacing all the landscaping in our front yard. We learned about the different characteristics of plants beyond just sun and shade and Gina ensured that our design took into account aroma and blooming seasons. Perhaps even just as important as all the design work, she helped us find a contractor and then worked directly with him and his crew to create the new landscape. We could not have pulled this off without her professionalism, design skills, and attention to detail.

We worked with Gina about 4 years ago and this review is long overdue. The experience was really good; 4 years later we still happy with our backyard. Here's where Gina nailed it: - Good Planning: planning took about 2 months, Gina provided her sketches based on our descriptions. She met with us many times to understand the style we were looking for (Mediterranean/Lebanese village), and she took our feedback and was open to tweaking the designs based on that. - Great knowledge of the flora: based on our wants, Gina suggested plants and fruit trees that were mediterranean, and were disease and drought resistant. She also took the time to go with me twice to nurseries to take a look at the plants and then purchased them from other providers at a better price (she went above and beyond to find us an old fruitless olive tree, and played as a mediator between me and my partner, so we wouldn't kill each other during the process :). - Picking the material: Gina accompanied me to stone providers to pick the material for our backyard, showing me different options that would fit our budget; she accommodated last minute changes to the gate option (metal circle instead), adding an area for a chicken coup ... - She had a resources of great contractors (Solid Rock) that were extremely professional (the guy that laid out the retainer wall and the beautiful stone patio was an artist). - Follow up visits: Gina conducted follow up visits, 3 months and one year after the project was done, she checked on the plants and provided tips and potential resources that we can use to maintain backyard. Here's some room for improvement: Cost estimate: Gina's service cost was reasonable (design, sketching, plant selection, visits) however once we started the execution, we switched to more expensive material (natural stone, cedar wood …) and that through us of budget and wasn’t accounted for originally. I wish Gina pointed that out while picking the material.

We love our backyard that Gina designed! She was very easy and fun to work with! Her knowledge of plants was extensive and had lots of good ideas for a beautiful palette of color for our yard. She also designed a unique and classy pergola with shade cloth and all the hardscape for the yard which gave us much more usable space for most seasons. The patio Included heaters, fan, and lighting. She has followed up with us several times even long after the project was finished. We appreciate all her hard work and professionalism! Thanks Gina!!

Our project was new landscape and planting ie no need to change the hardscape. Gina really listened to what we wanted e.g. low maintenance. Also Gina selected plants that would show off color or flowers throughout the year so that we didn't have a splash of color for a few months and then nothing. Part of her process is to meet at a nursery so we could see what she was planning to plant. That was helpful to understand color, size and texture. Gina drew up detailed project plans with detailed planting guide. She also provided a picture board for all the plants. Gina suggested contractors for the installation. Gina met with the contractor and us to review the job and helped us select our contractor. Gina continued to meet with the contractor to monitor the work. As part of her project, Gina returned 3 months after completion to check on the health of the plants. She gave us a pruning tutorial.

Gina is absolutely wonderful to work with. She designed and managed a complete backyard remodel for my house. She came up with a unique design that includes innovative solutions to some tricky problems. Gina then helped select a contractor for the project and worked closely with them throughout the project. The end result is a lovely, relaxing backyard complete with a dining area under a beautiful arbor, lounge area and water feature. Gina is very knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping. She works very hard to achieve the desired goals. She is friendly, extremely responsive and communicates clearly. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend Gina for your landscaping needs.

Gina is amazing! She helped transform our patio from a dull space that we never used to an oasis of tranquility that we get to enjoy every day--firepit and water feature included! Gina was able to come up with a design plan that totally captured our vision. She guided the project from start to finish, working closely with the contractor and advocating on our behalf. I love how Gina thinks outside the box to come up with clever solutions to design problems--I'm amazed that she managed to fit a hammock in our space without making it feel crowded. Gina is the ultimate professional, reliable and talented. It's been such a pleasure working with her.

In 2016 Gina designed the upgrade to our front, back and side yard landscaping including a new driveway, front walkway and backyard patio to complement our newly remodeled house. She listened carefully to our vision for a low maintenance, low water solution to replace our old lawns and hodgepodge of shrubbery, plus add some elegance to our driveway, walkways and patio area. She provided us with a creative detailed plan for the new hardscape and plant and tree selections that met our needs and the Santa Clara Valley Water District criteria for their water rebate. Gina has a superb knowledge of plants and trees as well as hardscape alternatives, plus the creativity and skill for putting them all together into a cohesive plan. She helped us select a contractor to implement the plan, and then actively worked with them throughout the project from beginning to end. She regularly stops by even now to check on the plants and trees, and to advise us regarding their pruning and fertilizing. We are most pleased with the results of Gina’s work to transform our old outside look into a beautiful and thriving garden. We applaud her dedication, dependability and skills as a landscape architect and designer, and highly recommend her for your re-landscaping design needs.

I would highly recommend Gina as a landscape designer. She has an amazing knowledge of plants and a great eye for color and detail. She is a pleasure to work with and fun to have around. I am also very impressed with her follow up after my project was completed. She stops by every now and then to check on the plants and makes recommendations when necessary. I now have a beautiful garden that I enjoy every day thanks to Gina.
