At First Sight

We love Granite Huggers! They did two jobs for us - a slab hearth installation, and kitchen sink opening retrofit. Both of those jobs were completed efficiently, with as little granite dust as possible, and for a reasonable price. Now, after our third move infer years, we'll be keeping them in mind for the renovations on our current home - you just can't go wrong with them!

I met Granite Huggers through a mutual client. I was the builder and he was providing the countertops. They did an outstanding job - most notably, they met schedule expectations and were very attentive to any concerns. There was a mishap (not their fault) and a piece had to be replaced, they were reasonable, fair and very timely to correcting the mishap! Steve and his staff are friendly and very responsive!

They are amazing in everything that they do. I had a double sink vanity that was installed by a different vendor and it was far from being acceptable. They were able to remove the slab and refinish it and fix it the way that it should have been installed originally. Their work saved me the cost of purchasing another slab. They also installed a slab to replace one that was installed for a bathtub we had in our master bath. It fit perfect. The other vendor's installation was terible. I think that I could have completed a better installation. I have used them for other slab work and there is no comparison in their work to other vendors that I have used. I can not say enough about them!

They supplied a granite infinity sink in my powder bath. It looks great and the price was great too! Had one small glitch when they brought the wrong piece of granite when they came to install. We had to resched to have installers come back with correct granite. However, that really didn’t set the project back much and the actual install went very smoothly. In fact, bringing the incorrect granite piece was actually a blessing because I changed the size a bit. It’s not often you can dry fit a piece of granite!!

They were so helpful in designing and picking out granite for our kitchen and bathrooms. Every date that was scheduled, they were prompt and always communicated with us. We never felt pressure to buy more expensive pieces, told them the budget and we were shown everything in a budget range. It turned out better than we could image and the installers were professional and polite. Love everything they did. Would use them again.

We went to Granite Huggers in search of a particular look that we wanted & they had it! We later called to order and they sent an employee out to measure our counter top and make a pattern to use to cut our sandstone to fit. Steve went to the supplier and sent us pictures of three pieces of stone to choose from. They delivered on the date scheduled, and did a fabulous job and cleaned up after they were finished. We were very pleased with the work done. It was professional, on time, for the quoted price and they exceded our expectations. We choose to have the sandtone tiles as our backsplash and the installer was a true artist and layed out the stones just perfectly so that there are not two stones alike next to each other. We couldn't be any happier with our counter tops, the service and care provided by Granite Huggers to make our dream come true!
