Trentini Design creates spaces that are classic, aesthetically beautiful, relaxed and easy to live in. Collaboration and a shared dialogue results in unique design solutions tailored to individual needs. Achieve your dream home using my knowledge of current trends and timeless interiors. As an independent interior designer Kathryn’s studio, located in Port Macquarie, covers interior design, colour concepts, decoration, product sourcing and styling. Passionate about using contemporary, independent and emerging designers, she loves to create spaces that are classic and aesthetically beautiful yet are relaxed and easy to live in. For Kathryn, working as an interior designer is very much a collaborative process. Moving into other design areas including theatre production, set design and shop-front window design gives her a creative outlet to explore beyond the traditional interior. Developing a greater spatial awareness, honing creative problem solving skills and pushing creative boundaries, these skills translate back into her interiors. Kathryn is a Member of the Design Institute of Australia.

I engaged Kathryn to assist me in an extension and renovation of my cabin that is set in a rural location near Port Macquarie. I needed help with a new kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, lounge area as well as the exterior. Her attention to detail and eye for architectural features has created a spectacular home that is beyond what I could have anticipated. Not only do I have a beautiful home, it is a very functional space that I enjoy living in every day. I would highly recommend Kathryn.

Renee Watson

My Partner and I purchased an apartment in 2011. By 2015 we were ready to give the apartment a much needed update but within a very specific budget. I'm not particularly experienced with interiors so really my brief to Kathryn involved three things relating to the kitchen: (1) I wanted to hide all my appliances - I don't like them on my bench top (2) I'm a huge coffee lover so I wanted to have my coffee machine accessible without seeing it all the time; and (3) Must be kept to budget. We talk about some of the stylistic choices and what my Partner and I liked. However apart from that Kathryn took the brief and ran with it! She was able to create space for a butlers pantry in a small apartment. Sourced products at a really reasonable price and came up with a beautiful palate that is also highly functional! I'd definitely recommend.

We were really happy with the work done by Dallape Chant. We had no idea of what colours to choose for the interior of our house that we were renovating but Kathryn chose the perfect colour combinations and materials for the interior walls, carpet, lighting, blinds and kitchen cabinetry. Kathryn was very intuitive when it came to understanding what we were trying to create and over 2 years later, I can't think of anything I would have done differently. It was our first time renovating and the options seemed endless so It really took the stress out by having Dallape Chant onboard and for a very reasonable cost. I would definitely hire Dallape Chant again.
