What an amazing home! We could not be more thrilled with all of the details you helped us perfect, molding our home to our lifestyle! We constantly marvel at the perfection of the layout for our preferences, the house orientation which captures light from early morning and allows us to enjoy sunny day’s “shine” from the mudroom windows, around my office ones(pushed together is perfect!) and across the back of the house. The bank of windows from the dining area across the back through the MBR delights us daily. The HUGE windows in the Great Room- which you suggested- take our breath away! THANK YOU so much for making them spectacular, Jack. You have great vision and are so easy to work with... We all love the balcony off of his office! No chairs, yet, a la Boston Legal’s Shatner whiskey and cigars, but there is time. There's so much more to say, but space is short- designing a home with you was pure pleasure and we could not be happier in our abode! It's just right!

We've had the pleasure of working with Kemper Associates on two custom homes over the past 13 years, the first in CT in 2000/1 and the second in NH in 2013/4. The CT house was our first experience with a custom home and Jack Kemper eased the process by listening closely to our desires and needs and translating them into a preliminary sketch. His creative and distinguished designs consider the home's positioning and take full advantage of natural lighting. The interior designs of the homes combines both creativity and functionality. Our interiors are spacious yet produce a feeling of coziness due to Jack's inventive trim designs. Jack and his team are extremely receptive and easy to work with and are all very accessible to us, our builder, interior designer and landscape architect. His is truly a team player. So, when we were relocated to New Hampshire, it was an easy decision who we wanted as the architect for our new house! Jack quickly accepted the challenge and, despite the distance and new team members (builder, interior designer), we have another distinctive Kemper Architects product. Again, his house design has surpassed our expectations. The placement of the house on the site (an item that Jack carefully studied) allows us amazing views and sunsets that flow through our house. It couldn't have been planned any better. After two houses and fourteen years of working together, we not only have fostered a business/client relationship, we have gained a life long friend. Without Jack my house would never have been built. We needed to tuck this little house into a narrow urban lot in a Historic District and make it look like it was always there. We survived 7! public hearings with heavy revision. Jack remained true to my original vision while accommodating the requirements of many other visions of what my house needed to be. His price was fair, his manner engaging and open. My house won an award and i gained a valued friend. He and and his staff are the best architectural firm ever.
