We will miss working with all of you! Klassen Remodeling & Design, Inc. is a design/build remodeling firm established in 1975. Ours is a collaborative design process. Carefully considering architectural integrity, functionality and aesthetics, we provide our clients with suggestions and alternatives, empowering them to make the best decision for their lifestyle. OUR MISSION: To improve people’s lives by improving their homes. Your home isn’t a “living space.” It’s not just a place where you “hang your hat” (to use an old saying). Wallner Builders completed a total remodel of our main bath, including the movement of walls. Results were amazing and exceeded our expectations. The project was completed within budget. Design ideas were excellent. The completion date did get moved out as we waited for delivery and installation of a shower door. While frustrating, communication was frequent - and - the results were worth the wait. We would work with Wallner again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Thank you very much for your kind words! I know the shower door delivery issue was hard, but we all appreciated your patience and understanding. It was indeed a pleasure working with you, and we hope to again.

Wallner builders is a fantasic! I used them twice already and did a great job! I had my basement finished last summer and loved it. They got the whole project done in about 3 months. They were great at returning phone calls when ever I had questions. They even came with me and gave me options about what fixtures would look good in the basement!! Great customer service. Overall I would defiantly recommend them to anyone who is remodeling.

Thank you for your kind remarks. It was really fun working with you. You were so quick, getting all your selections done in a month -- especially all the stair rail parts! Thanks to that, the construction work took just 6 weeks, which is nice when we're able to move a project along that well. Hope we can do it again!

We hired Wallner builders to remodel three bathrooms. They were thoughtful, thorough, conscientious, honest and fair. I give them my highest recommendation.

Replaced a ceiling; upgraded lighting; replaced stair treads and risers; repainted walls; added hot water re-circulation system; removed asbestos; insulated exposed basement pipes; various electrical work; added in wall wiring for surround sound system. Outside: replaced cedar shake siding & painted wood trim and siding. The work went smoothly and was professionally handled. The owner, Ron, is a pleasure to work with. His crew is meticulous and added to the value of our home with their excellent work. When one piece did not go as expected, it was immediately rectified with no excuses, and , of course at no charge. We liked all of the people who came to work in our home, and outside our home, and have more work scheduled.

Ron was a pleasure to work with during both the design and building of my kitchen remodel. It was a truly extreme makeover of a horrible kitchen situation that we moved into with full intent to remodel as soon as possible. The final product exceeded expectations. Besides reflecting excellent craftsmanship, it blends with the rest of the 1929 house and is extremely user friendly. Those aspects are due to wise advice given by Ron who tempered my crazy ideas with reasonable suggestions during the design process based on his previous experiences. They have swiftly taken care of the very few follow up problems that have occurred (drawer glides that were recalled by the manufacturer...).

It was a pleasure working with the two of you; I'm very glad that the end result got you to where you wanted to be! Many who have seen the photos are very complimentary of your choices. And, hey, your "crazy" ideas often led to solutions which worked, so bring em on!

We hired Wallner to remodel an unfinished basement by adding a recreation room, an extra bedroom, a 3/4 bathroom and laundry area, a mud room, and an exterior deck/staircase around an above ground pool to attach to an existing ironwood deck behind our house. We were extremely pleased with the results of all their work, both inside and out. All work was done very professionally, on-time, and within the budgets we agreed upon. Furthermore, any small issues that came up after completion were handled promptly and with concern for our complete satisfaction. Great job Ron!!

We have an older home in Wauwatosa with an extremely outdated bath. My wife and I just welcomed a new baby girl and were on a tight budget. Ron went above and beyond when it came to providing multiple options that would keep us on budget. While it was not the largest project for Wallner Builders, nor the most lucrative for them, Ron and his staff made us feel like we were their most important client. The bath turned out amazing. It was on time and on budget. We would absolutely recommend Wallner Builders and will use them again in the future. Not only do they pride themselves on the quality of the job completed, but they focus equally on the relationship with their clients.

I remember fondly the day you and S___ and I went chasing around to make selections and the negotiations you two had in staying on budget. I could do that day over and over (but not Groundhog Day!!!). Best wishes to you, and thanks again for your kind review.

Wallner Builders finished their second large project in our historical home in Whitefish Bay. After having them redo the east wall on our home and keeping the original leaded glass windows in the wall that had been completely rotted, we were very pleased with their work. Their attention to detail, their respect to maintain the original and special architectural detail, and their unique solutions to problems that other builders didn’t even want to look at, encouraged us to hire them again. No longer getting hot water to the second floor in our 90 year old home, this time it was the plumbing that needed attention. We needed the whole house re-plumbed, including four bathrooms and other wet areas in the house. Starting with removal of asbestos from the basement to the end touches of plaster work and painting, Ron Klassen, lead designer, saw to all the various work crews. Again we wanted to maintain as much as possible that was original to the house. Ron and his assistant , Macey, consulted with us on every element, gave us contacts, suggested options, or went with us to choose lighting, countertops, etc. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend Wallner Builders to anyone needing remodeling work done on their home, especially old and historical houses where the challenges require unique solutions and the devil is in the details!

Wallner Builders did a great job designing and constructing our lower level! Our family spends a lot of time using this classy, comfortable space. Who would think a basement could look so good? Ron planned it so that every inch is used effectively and the lighting is perfect. We have a large rec area, extra bedroom, exercise room, and a great bathroom. There are closets galore and a beautiful entertainment center. After the project was completed, Ron addressed every little question I had and dealt well with any concerns we had right away. We were so pleased with everything, we had Wallner Builders replace all the windows in our house in 2011. The workers were super-courteous and every mess was cleaned up before they left for the day. Wallner Builders pays very close attention to details. Flaws are practically non-existent. We recommend this company for any home renovation or construction project!
