At Live Edge Creations, we specialize in creating handcrafted wood furniture for homes and offices. Our mission is to capture and immortalize the natural beauty from the wood so it will live on as elegantly in your home as it did in nature. Each piece is as unique and diverse as one tree is from another. This makes our furniture a perfect centerpiece that will live on in your home for generations to come. Born into a family of builders and craftsmen, Stephen Noyes took to woodworking at a very early age. He soon went on to master the trade of custom homebuilding. His love of wood and woodworking has inspired him in the search and rescue of many trees of which were destined to be turned into firewood or landfill material, and to create from them beautiful works of art. Having built a solid reputation over the past 30 years for the highest quality work, love for his craft, respect for his clients, and ability to problem solve effectively, Stephen Noyes has taken his place among the premier craftsman in the Pacific Northwest.

I am a builder and have used Steve for multiple projects, work and my personal home. His mastery of carpentry and woodworking enable him to provide unique and creative solutions to often difficult design problems. Steve's attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of end product make it a nobrainer whenever I have something challenging arise.

Mr. Noyes' woodwork create our houses character. The dining table, six chairs, two hutches, two rocking chairs, and three bar stools with bar furnish the living room. The bed, bench, table, two chest of drawers and bookcase make the bedroom. The pieces are functional, comfortable, and invite touching. The warmth of the wood and simplicity of the design give a unique distinctiveness to the rooms.

After looking unsuccessfully for an extra-large round dining table, I contacted Live Edge Creations and Stephen was able to build me one to my exact specifications. He walked me through the entire process and I was able to choose a section of a tree rescued locally which gave it special meaning. My color and size needs were pretty specific and Stephen was a great listener which translated into the perfect table that even included a leaf and a lazy susan. When I first saw the finished table, I was blown away by the natural beauty of the wood and the skill of the craftsman. Not a meal goes by that I don't think about what a treasure my table is and will be for generations to come.

We have multiple pieces made by Live Edge Creations. Each has been a beautiful work of art disguised as furniture. We have visited the location multiple times and have been extremely impressed with the owner's knowledge of the wood, the attention to detail, and the recommendations for the items we purchased. The only issue we had was cost but we were willing to pay for the quality and exquisite workmanship. We had a rocking chair, ottoman frame, two large dining room chairs and a table made. We would certainly do it again. The price range indicated below was for each individual piece. We became aware through the beautiful work he did for friends and would very highly recommend his work for someone who appreciates the workmanship and artistic value of his creations.

Steve is a true craftsman. Our new black walnut live edge dining room table looks absolutely stunning in our home. Not only is the wood grain pattern rich and striking, but Steve put real workmanship into the base as well. It compliments the slab remarkably well, and visitors to our home are quick to comment on both the slab and the base. Steve's service was above and beyond, delivering the table to our home in time for use as part of our large family gatherings during the holidays. We feel fortunate to have found Steve, and would recommend to anyone his work. We were lucky enough to see some of his other beautiful creations when we visited his shop, his chairs were every bit as beautiful as the table we purchased.

I have had the opportunity to have Steve (Live edge) work for me on several occasions over the past 15 years. While I consider myself to be very handy in general, I have witnessed Steve's work and found him to be a true craftsman. He has completed various projects for me – framing walls and roofs, setting kitchen cabinets, and finishing and installing a final trim package for my home. All projects have been completed on time and budget. But the most recent and the most impressive task Steve has undertaken for me is building a set of walnut bar stools. These are made from reclaimed wood, and are both beautiful and superbly made. Steve's brings excellent technical skills and artistic talent together, making him a true world class craftsman, especially with respect to his production of furniture. I have seen several of his impressive live edge tables, and only wish I had more room in my home to display his work.

We have purchased multiple pieces of furniture: tables, chairs, mirror... All of our furniture was meticulously crafted. To us, the pieces are priceless. They bring us comfort, happy memories and artistic appeal. Stephen even brought to life my own design ideas. Our projects were completed on time and within our set budget. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The proof is that we have been his client over and over in the last five years.
