We worked with Nancy from Modern Kitchen and are super happy with the way our project turned out! We were changing the footprint of our kitchen and expanding it into a back hallway and bedroom. We walked her through our ideas, she did some measuring and in 10 days she had drawings ready for our review. She did a great job of understanding our vision and needs. We had very few adjustments to her drawings. Her cabinet recommendations were right on. We greatly appreciated her coordination with Studio 427 (she works there too), Stephanie from HOM, Laurie and Jeff from Solid Fabrications, Mike from Custom Metal Works, Dave of Dave's Hard Wood Floors and our contractor Brett from Blue Line Construction. This is our second project with Modern Kitchen. Steve designed an awesome bar for our basement of a previous home. The quality of their work brought us back for our kitchen project!

Steve was brilliant in creating our new kitchen layout ! His attention to detail and knowledge of how to design a beautiful kitchen and make it even better through functionality resulted in a perfect dream kitchen!

The kitchen remodel was huge. Modern Kitchen did a great job from design to completion. They were Very professional yet friendly.

We hired Breezy to help out with the design of our kitchen, bathroom and various cabinetry around the house. This was our first time building a house so we definitely needed the help! Her expertise was so welcoming and we couldn't be happier with how the look of our house turned out. Unfortunately her lack of professionalism and coordination with her suppliers have left a sour taste in our mouths. Many of our materials were late or never ordered until after their expected arrival date leaving us extremely frustrated with little to no apology from Breezy. In fact she blamed deadline delays on us, the client, when I had proof she received the information I owed her when she asked for it. You're not going to be very successful in my book blaming the client for things he/she didn't do. Networking is everything these days, especially in a smaller community, and I know I will not recommend the unprofessionalism or lack of respect Breezy and her company have given us.

I am so sorry that you were upset with the project. In truth some of the delays were entirely out of my control. There were a few changes that pushed delivery dates out. I loved the project and the design of the house. I spoke with Brock recently and he said he was happy with things and thought we had worked well together, so this review saddens me. My apologies. I hope you enjoy the house & congrats on the extra addition to the family.

I hired Modern Kitchen Design and specifically Breezy based on a recommendation from our general contractor. This was my first house build so I had many questions and little knowledge about what it takes to design a complete interior for a 2600 sq ft house (excluding the lower level). Breezy asked me many questions about my style and provided suggestions as well as narrowed the scope of my options. She was up front and honest with me if she felt I was going in the wrong direction with my decision, but never made the ultimate decision for me. Her vision of the space helped me keep my design in perspective not only with the flow of the room but within my budget. She helped me plan not only my cabinetry for the kitchen and bathrooms, but the floor, granite, stone, and paint color. I will be asking for her design expertise again as we finish our lower level family room and bar area! I would highly recommend Breezy and Modern Kitchen Design.

Breezy was wonderful and very helpful to work with. I did not really like the original plans for our kitchen from our contractor. Breezy made some changes and did a great job of making the space open, inviting, and useful. She was very easy to work with and had great ideas. She also did our bathrooms and living room and I'm also very happy with how they turned out.

Worked close with Breezy on my kitchen remodel in a rental I've been remodeling. Her attention to details, and listening to my wants and needs are the reason I chose to go with Modern Kitchen in Sioux City, IA. Keeping my hard earned money local is something that is important, and with the budget I had, I'm still in AWWWWW, as to how amazing everything turned out!!!! Our new project is going to be under way soon! Closet organizing and a couple custom cabinets for my bath room. If you want it done right, want it done once, she's your gal!

I have worked closely with Breezy and Steve Struthers and all of the employees at at Modern Kitchen Design. They remodeled our kitchen and dining room 3 years ago. They gave us ideas to enhance our remodel with new floors in our sunroom, bathroom and entryway. We just finished a project with them to update built in shelving to our livingroom and reface our fireplace. We will be working with Breezy and Steve again next year to completely remodel our master bathroom. I love their ideas, their patient, their expertise and creativity. Not only have they added additional value and appeal to our home they have helped us fall in love with our home all over again.
