I don’t remember when I started using the services or recommending Paint it Like New to clients but I’m sure it has been at least ten years. They have transformed dated kitchens, bathroom vanities and furniture pieces for myself and clients. It’s amazing what paint can do. Most recently, they took on the task of painting new Ikea kitchen cabinet doors that were black and now they are a beautiful off white. I wanted black base cabinets and white uppers which is one way to add visual interest to a kitchen. PILN also took a cabinet which had dozens of shelf holes and filled them as I wanted an open cabinet for display with no door. You would be hard pressed to tell there were holes there previously. The team there does an amazing job and Janet, the owner, is a dream to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to refresh/update their kitchen or bathroom cabinetry. It’s a budget friendly way to transform a space.

Had a door repainted. When we got it back home we found the door had been dented and you could see brush strokes.

Do not go in with high expectations and avoid disappointment! Overpriced for quality of work. I found the owner to be highly defensive and short on patience where customer opinion is concerned.

We have a pair of heirloom Wicker chairs that have passed down through our family for over 120 years, which needed a fresh paint job. We were referred to Janet and her staff at Paint It Like New and contacted the store to obtain a quote. Janet and her associates responded immediately with an excellent explanation of their paint process as well as an excellent quote. Their expertise on painting colour options was very valuable and the time frames quoted were adhered to on the mark! The chairs are home and the results are excellent! The colour selection fits in even better than we imagined which is such a relief as we have struggled with our own own colour selections throughout the 40 plus years we have been care takers of these heirlooms. After unsuccessfully shopping for a kitchen set, we decided to have our old set re-painted. We contacted 'Paint it Like New'. They gave us a very affordable, accurate estimate and an acceptable timeline. They review the type of paint that should be used and showed us examples. We decided to proceed and delivered 6 wooden chairs and the pedestal of a maple table to them. It was completed within the timeline and the results were better than we expected. YES... the set is "like new". AND, it significantly enhanced the look of our kitchen. We're extremely happy with the end product and would not hesitate to recommend and use their services again.

I purchased a vintage side table from a dealer in Toronto in July 2016 and asked that the Paint It Like New staff transform it from white to black. The results far exceeded my expectations. The table looks fantastic; the finish is clean and uniform and I could not be happier. The staff was very helpful in answering my questions and the quote was very reasonable considering the amount of work involved. I would highly recommend Paint It Like New.

Would not go back or recommend them to anyone. I recently got my basement kitchenette doors painted from them. Due to some unforseen circumstances was unable to pick up my order on time, which was conveid to the store manager. I was still charged a late fee $50.00. She didn't want to listen or understand my situation and was so rude and unprofessional, to a point where she told me 'shame on you', when I told her that I have run businesses too and that we all make exceptions for our customers. She almost pushed me out of her store. I fail to understand how and why did she had to act the way she did. She didn't care about customer relations or loosing a customer all together. Never in my life, experienced this kind of customer service.

I had been looking for a service to refinish the front facing on a set of drawers in my daughter's room for quite some time. Luckily I heard of Paint It Like New. Customer service was excellent, from getting an online quote to picking up the drawer fronts. No problems and the final product looked great. I would highly recommend this company.
