The lead plumber knew his stuff, however, was intimidating as well as thoroughly knowledgeable about what he was doing. His aim though, was to make money. The other one was more honest and said the situation wasn't that bad. The moral of the story was the problem I had was still there when they left 3 days later - hadn't thought of checking upstream nor all connecting pipes. That was $4,500 later and I'd heard them giggling out of ear shot.

Darren and his team have successfully completed a bathroom renovation for me. Darren was involved in the design, material acquisition, costing, demolition, construction, clean up, and liaison with third party suppliers. Darren and his team delivered a high quality job, and I would recommend them to others considering renovations. Darren was particularly helpful working with difficult third party suppliers so the project would be completed on time. He and his team were always friendly, contactable and flexible. Darren balanced my expectations about the design and available materials and dimension constraints. I would easily recommend Darren to complete a high quality job.

Darren and the team at Pipe Perfection have done a great job with our renovation. The project consisted of a new kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a laundry. Oh and setting up a temporary kitchen and laundry for us to use as we are living in the house. The one word that best describes their service is Reliability, they honour all commitments. On top of that the quality of their workmanship is top class. They really are nice guys and they know what they are doing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We have used Pipe Perfection Plumbers three times now and my husband and I were very impressed with our entire experience, particularly in comparison to other plumbers who we have used in the past. The booking experience was easy, professional and they went above and beyond in their customer service. We knew who was coming to do our job and on the day we were given a heads up that the plumber was on the way, and they were on time. What we really liked was how our plumber explained the problem each time. He gave us some options and was clear about the cost breakdown so we knew what we were up for and why. In one instance, the plumber also did a free inspection around our home, gave us some tips and made some adjustments at no cost as part of the inspection. The work was done well every time and they cleaned up after themselves. After each job, we were contacted to get feedback and to see if we had any questions and if we were happy. This is in comparison to other plumbers we have had in the past who were messy, creepy or unprofessional.

The completed job was poor overall. The workmanship was careless and showed a lack of skill. There were many problems during and after completion. Nothing was square, pipe joins leaked, carpentry was sub standard by a long way, Colorbond roofing sheets were cut at the wet end, left with sharp edges and we're not straight, roofing screws missed their target, concrete path had to be redone, and large amounts of silicone were needed to fill gaps in the guttering. They also tore the laminate on the kitchen benchtop when removing the gas hob. This company was more interested in being paid than making good their motto of fixed or free. Some staff were rude, dismissive of our needs and even suggested that we were dodgy when a demand for a mid payment was delayed. I would definitely not recommend this company.

I’m really sorry Rob that on this occasion, we were unable to make you happy with the work we completed. We revisited your property several times in December/January trying hard but it would seem that we did not meet your expectations. It was a tricky one as you wanted us to complete the roof edging in a different way to what we recommended. Then you were unhappy with the result. We weren't surprised but wanted you to be happy so we redid the edging at no cost and we re-laid the paving as well. The boys worked very late on Christmas eve trying to get it right for you. We thought we were all set.

But in January, when payment wasn’t made again, we followed up to find that there were more things you were upset about. I came out personally, and set out to make it right so we could settle everything. I felt that I got the work to where it should be. Of course, I did this at no cost to you. I also took enough money off the bill to more than cover your concerns as recompense. I'm very surprised about the gas hob as you and I were there together - I recall you taking the old one out and I put it in there and then at no cost to you. I don't recall there being any issue at the time? I understood that when I left, you were satisfied with all the work we had done.

Happy customers are something that we do care about and it’s genuinely upsetting to every person that works here including me. We will be adjusting our processes about roofing recommendations in circumstances such as yours to ensure clarity in future and I have reviewed your job with my plumbing staff so we can all learn from the experience. Again, I can only say that I’m sorry our efforts were not enough to meet your needs and thanks for your feedback.

We have used Pipe Perfection several times over the past few years and found them to be very good. From plumbing issues or electrical they have been able to help and rectify any problems we have had. They are neat tidy and always clean up after a job. Highly recommend them!

Janelle Haigh

Pipe Perfection are our preferred plumbers for our Strata complex. They have done some major plumbing work for us over the years, particularly between the years of 2008-2010 when we were experiencing some major issues. They are honest, professional, on time and do a great job and it is for this reason we only use them if something is required.
