Prutting & Company Custom Builders, LLC is owned solely by David and Deborah Prutting. Founded in 1975, our company has grown from a roofing company specializing in wood shingle work, to a full service Contracting Company. We have worked with dozens of area and nationally prominent architects and have completed hundreds of construction projects in the Fairfield and Westchester County areas. Prutting & Company Custom Builders, LLC is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality craftsmanship, considerate customer service, comprehensive project and site management, and thorough attention to detail. It is our purpose to produce distinctive, well-executed renovation and new construction - drawing from many years of collective experience of our employees and management team, and the best of current technologies available to builders today. We appreciate and are inspired by good design and well executed building plans. Our company history of stability, and consistently excellent performance, gives our clients reassurance and comfort passing through the intimidating process of residential construction and remodeling. Prutting & Co. was the GC for our kitchen renovation. They were a dream: flawless work, on schedule and on budget, clean and considerate. We continue to use them for all ongoing maintenance work. Absolutely recommended!

Prutting & Company built our award winning house in Pound Ridge in 2014, construction cost under. They had a challenging and unusual project which they handled with great enthusiasm. They are highly professional and have great craftsmen at their disposal.

Jade Hobson

We hired Prutting & Company to rebuild our house after it burned in late August of 2001. They did an excellent job and I give Dave and his team my highest recommendation. They kept a crew working at all times and completed the job on time. Their work was of the highest quality. Also, I have called Dave many times since then for advice on related projects. He always came through and often sent someone to take care of the request. They are the best! Prutting & Co. would be the first builder I would call for any future building projects I might have in the future.

Paul Sprague

David Prutting was our Gen Contractor that built our House in Nes Canaan, Ct. He was Perfect. Did everything by the Plans and everything else that we asked. Workmanship was outstanding! We would rate him AAA Plus! Total Project: About $1.4 Million

Hendricks Churchill

As a designer, I had the pleasure of working with Prutting and Company on a 4,000 square foot new construction in Larchmont, NY. They were awarded the project after a long bid process with five other contractors–their submission was the most accurate, complete, and clear, plus they followed the submission outline requirements (another example of their professionalism). The project lasted about 14 months–finishing on time and on budget. Dave, Jack & Rick were great to work with, and made the process one of the more enjoyable we have experienced. Always honest, totally straight forward, and with professional management there was never an issue with scheduling or quality control. We're looking forward to our next project with Prutting & Company.
