Steve and Josh from Retreat were very easy and helpful to work with and we are delighted with the end result. The recommended products all seem high quality and so far have performed well. We have also had lots of positive feedback from friends! 4 1/2 out of 5 really. The only faults were 1. They struggled with supplying tradesmen at times, which I suspect reflects the general market at the moment. 2. I would have liked more advice on lighting which they left me to manage (apart from under-cupboard / pantry lights). 3. I notice that the drawers/ cupboards are quite shallow, leaving a large dead space against the walls. This might be standard with modern kitchens, but it reduced our storage space compared to our 15 year old kitchen. Many thanks to the team for all their efforts.

We are so glad we chose Steve and his team at Retreat Design to achieve the new kitchen we dreamed of. From Steve's initial graphics, through removal of existing kitchen and installation of a stunning new kitchen, the Retreat Design team were all professional, courteous and tidy. Steve at retreat design completed a full renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms. The process was efficient and completely stress free. Everything went as planned and the ‘after care’ attention to detail was excellent, I would highly recommend retreat design.

Peter Moore

Steve and his team are highly professional from design advice down to installation and handover. The ability to touch and feel the sample cabinets made our decision making process a lot easier. Steve's patience and skill in the design process allowed us to come up with a final result that is outstanding. All the tradesmen were top shelf, nothing was too much trouble. The project was delivered on budget and on time. The product quality of the Italian cabinet work is outstanding.

ARCFORMS design innovation

I have had the privilege of working both for and with Steve and Catherine from Retreat Design. A few years back I worked with them to design their additions to their family home, they were a pleasure to work with as they were genuinely interested and engaging in the design process. A keen eye and appreciation for fine detail along with high quality, carefully considered design. This approach is the basis for all their work at Retreat Design. Following my experience designing their renovations with them I have and will continue to refer my current and future clients to them. The quality of the product they deliver is second to none and on the cutting edge of modern design. Their friendly service is backed up with high end design and solid understanding and knowledge of the products they provide. They have access to materials, finishes and fixtures unavailable to most. I was very happy with the professionalism of this company, the quality of the product and trades that installed our new kitchen. Steve has a good team that was well co-ordinated and professional and definitely had a 'can-do' attitude. We were very happy with Retreat Design and would highly recommend them.

Marianne and Gavin

Kelly and the team at Retreat Design were wonderful to deal with from concept to completion. We had clear ideas and inspiration of what we were looking for in a kitchen and Retreat Design helped us make it happen. The 3D visuals of the kitchen were very useful when it came to making design choices. Josh was very professional and always pleasant to deal with. Any issues or concerns were dealt with promptly and we were very satisfied with the end result. We would definitely recommend Retreat Design.

A huge thank you to Steve, Kelly and all the team at Retreat Design. We did a huge renovation on our house and they were central to the success of our project. After "shopping around", we chose Retreat simply because we wanted good design and felt they had the products and service level to deliver an end result we would be happy with. We were certainly not disappointed and it is now a huge pleasure to live in these spaces and enjoy them. Kelly at Retreat Design in Subiaco was a delight to work with from start to finish. Her ability to understand what I required to renovate my bathroom and then source various options (and cost options) gave me a much better ability to choose what I was looking for, and with her eye for detail and colour the end result was spectacular. All of the staff at Retreat were easy to deal with and responded quickly to any matter raised. In addition, the trades people were all very professional and respectful of them being in your home.

Retreat did a great design job and turned around the minor design changes very quickly. They were very responsive to my needs, showing me what was available and sharing with me what other clients had chosen. There were lots of things in the showroom to look at and have a play with and lots of on site pictures. This made the selection process very simple. When it came to costing up the job, each area was explained in detail to me. There were no hidden extras that I discovered afterwards. A project schedule was prepared and the project manager stayed in close contact with me throughout the whole job. During the renovation, the trades were mindful of a working household both in terms of timeliness and mess. The trades came in, did what they needed to do and cleaned up prior to leaving for the day. This made it easier for us to live through all the activity. My daughter has the most gorgeous bathroom in the house and is the envy of all her friends. Our kitchen is just a chefs delight with everything at our fingertips. An absolute pleasure to work in !! Retreat did a fantastic job.

Great knowledge and passion of the products they sell. Retreat Design designed three sophisticated functional rooms taking into account our brief of what we required for our kitchen, laundry and bathroom .They produced a high end product with a beautiful finish in each room giving our house the wow factor! They had good time management of the project and kept to the budget guidelines we had given them .Any issues we had with a product or finish were sorted out straight away by their designers or installation team. I would highly recommend Retreat Design for any indoor project. Thanks Retreat Design for a fantastic job!
