First time we have used Ritchie and would put them at the top of our list in future. Well planned and budgeted with good subcontractors working for them. What was particularly good was that Chris took personal responsibility to ensure all work was done in line with expectations. He added ideas to the project through his personal experience which meant we were happy with the refurb and it actually came in under budget.

Motto Interior Design

Motto Interior Design has had the pleasure of collaborating with Ritchie Construction on a recent project. A few things stand out in making this firm special. They are extremely patient, kind and professional when interacting with their clients. But most importantly, they are excellent listeners and are always looking out for their client's best interest. We would definitely recommend them to friends and colleagues.

Chris managed a contrmpotary renovation for us, the project required meticulous, high quality and high precision work. The project was done on time, under budget and to our complete expectations. Ritchie Construction’s team was incredibly professional and proactive, in addition Chris did an excellent job at following up during and after completion ensuring that we were 100% satisfied with the work and the final outcome. I would not hasitate recommending Chris and his crew, they are truly and excellent team.

Chris managed our extensive town house renovation. The style was contemporary requiring significant attention to detail on a project that began as a complete gut of the existing interior and extended to 4 new bathrooms, new kitchen, new doors, trim, lighting, flooring, hardware, and painting. With everything custom made. Throughout the project Chris was excellent at keeping us updated, sharing his experience with our designer to ensure the best decisions, managing the trades to the quality level a contemporary design demands, and he paid attention to the details. The one area that I especially appreciated is Chris is a trained accountant and the budgeting, invoicing, and updating was excellent. Chris was a pleasure to work with, even when we had to navigate the occasional challenge. I would recommend him without reservation and would be happy to be a reference and share my experience if you are considering him for your project.

Chris and the team at Ritchie did great work on a difficult and extensive renovation/rebuild. We would 100% use them again in the future for a new build or another reno!

Ritchie Construction delivered a home renovation beyond our expectations and under our budget. We could not be happier. Professional, provided a great team of trades and managed them with good knowledge. Our strata had numerous compliance requirements that Chris successfully incorporated into his management plan. It was great to work with a company with such high standards.

I have worked with Chris for years and found him to be very professional and very fair in their how they go about there business. I would recommend them to anyone considering hiring a general contractor as a company that will provide a great finished product.

Chris hill is a great guy. He is very resourceful and willing to go the extra mile for the little things. I had a few things that I needed help with, he jumped right in and got them done even though they weren't on his list of "to do's."

Ritchie, was great to work, We had a very tight timline to get all the work completed and they went above and beyond to make sure we got everything completed on time. There was a lot of overlap of trades and pushing everyone to move things forward. They have great realtionships with all their trades and the city inspectors and everything went very smoothly.

Ritchie Construction was hired to renovate a condo that I purchased last year. The net result has been way beyond my expectations. The renovations and the workmanship have been absolutely outstanding. Chris Hill treated me as a full partner on the project - and was responsive to all of my input and concerns. I could not have asked for a better contractor to work with. - The fit and finish of the final project is absolutely outstanding. - Timelines, budget, and spending where all managed with me fully in the loop. I felt like I had control every step of the way. - During the final defect review, all of the outstanding issues were dealt with quickly and reasonably. - The work site was maintained spotlessly throughout the renovation process. It was great working with Chris and his team.

Fabulous to deal with. A Living Room, Kitchen and Bedroom renovation carried out by the Professional team of Ritchie Construction. They gave a realistic quote, were concerned about staying within budget, and maintained the estimated time frame. Always available to cheerfully answer my questions and ease my concerns.
