Tui Tagaloa has been their primary foreman for over 20 years and now they have Marquis Johnson who has a bachelor’s degree in construction and is also a licensed General Contractor. Michael Wilson is another man on the team who has, in the past, operated his own painting business. Pierce Construction & Repair is a local small business established and run by Richard Pierce, a graduate of UCLA in both Engineering and Business. He started this business after the Aero Space industry fell apart since he wanted to keep his family in this locality. His contractor’s license was issued in January 1989. That equates to over 25 years of service to the community. We have survived the difficulties of our economy because our customers know we provide quality work at a competitive rate.

We contacted Pierce Construction to build an overhead patio cover that was very challenging given the HOA and city building requirements. Richard was very adept at figuring out how to best navigate the maze of these approvals and design a structure that would meet all the required approvals and give us the structure we wanted. In the end - we were prevented by the HOA to build the structure - not because we failed to meet their requirements - but because of some very difficult neighbors. We hope that if and when we can build it - Pierce Construction will be available to complete the project since I have come to value their expertise and professionalism. I highly recommend them.

we had a special 4 car garage and a pool house build by pierce construction. dick pierce was always available to answer any questions and to offer suggestions. the project was completed on time for the whole family to enjoy. great crew too.

Richard completed an excellent repair and partial replacement of my front porch .His ideas and methods saved me from a total replacement which numerous other contractors had recommended. His crew was knowledgeable, polite, and very clean. Richard spotted a problem on another porch done by a prior contractor and repaired it immediately at a reasonable cost. I continue to use him and I highly recommend him.

Pierce construction has completed numerous jobs at my home. The jobs included roofing, room additions and design and installation of a decks. The services were always precluded by a detailed pre-site visit where options and materials were discussed. Following the site visit I was always provided with a complete estimate. The work was always completed on time. On construction days workers were always prompt and professional. Upon the completion of the projects a final meeting occurs and any necessary last minute details are attended to. All work performed came with a guarantee of workmanship and materials. Projects were always completed on time and within the estimate amount. I highly recommend Pierce Construction found them to be reliable, reasonably priced and having excellent integrity.

I have known Dick since we were in elementary school. He and I were in different boy scout troops. I dropped out of scouting but Dick progressed to Eagle Scout. I have found him to be a very honorable person, well educated. I know that he learned plumbing from the hands of a master, his father. I worked for his father when I was in high school on occasional weekends. What ever Dick committs to, he will complete to the highest standards.
