It was just over a year ago when I finally received my plans. For $4,000 - I was promised detailed plans, + 3D plans, and a video. Finally, after a couple missteps and receiving other people’s bids and bills, I finally I received a simple drawing plan that was not at all what I wanted or was discussed - with an outrageous estimated cost for the work. To their credit, they agreed that it was not what we had discussed (cost nor plan) and said they would do some refiguring and get back to me. To date, I have never heard from them again. To say I feel completely ripped off and taken advantage of is an absolute understatement!!

We could not be happier with the design and installation by the Scapes team on our back and side yard makeover. My wife and I were looking for something out of the ordinary and Scapes delivered. They listened carefully to gain an understanding of the vibe we were wanting and brought back a creative design that pulled together both a beautiful design and one that is highly functional. What put Scapes over the top for us was their willingness to allow us to make adjustments during installation, but more importantly, to offer suggestions we had not thought about. All suggestions were offered with no sense of upselling, just making us aware of opportunities that were consistent with our end goal. Those small touches, their attention to detail, and their absolute commitment to doing things right make them a sure bet for anyone looking for something special.

Russell and his team transformed our ugly, overgrown, sad landscape, into something magical! We live in an old Victorian home that was in dire need of help. Russell designed a garden that surrounded our front porch that is elegant, practical for Texas, and stunning! And he did the entire project within a week . From taking out the old landscape, to creating a french drain, to crafting air flow for our pier and beam foundation, to putting in edging, redoing the drip lines, planting, and finally adding mulch, the results are beautiful! So lovely that i cant stop looking at it and passers by have already complimented it! Simply amazing! I highly recommend him and his team. Very professional and very hard workers. They truly wanted it to be beautiful and for us to be happy! They succeeded all round!!!

They built a fireplace, patio and landscaped our side yard in 2016. The fireplace smokes, the patio has footprints where the workers walked across still wet concrete, and instead of rerouting sprinklers around new patio they capped the line. We came back from a trip and water was coming up between the patio and house. Oh, and the landscaping was inappropriate for the sunny conditions in our side yard. We have had to replace about 90% of the landscape.

There was a miscommunication with the company that ultimately was resolved. My advice would be to deal directly with the owner and make sure that everyone has the same understanding.

I've used Scapes Inc. on projects for years. Their designers and landscape architects are top notch. I've attached a picture of a project we recently completed together that they really knocked it out of the park on. I've referred them for small and large projects and never been disappointed.

Scapes was an incredible landscape company to work with. Since we had just built a new, modern house, we wanted to make sure that the landscape and pool would reflect the "moderness" of the house. Davey Devlin and his team spent a lot of time with us to first understand our needs and then go about designing the best landscape possible for us. They did not disappoint! They also LISTENED to what we were looking for and then went about finding the best solution. The results are stunning and we have had more compliments on our landscape/pool/hardscape than one could imagine. We also like the 1 year guarantee for plants....we have dealt with other landscape companies, and when a bush or tree dies, they are nowhere to be found. The follow up with Scapes has been fantastic. I have called Russell to ask about something I'm concerned about and he comes by that day or the next. I highly recommend Scapes!

Don't even look anywhere else, these guys are the real deal. We wanted our back yard landscaped southwest, but really did not know what we wanted. The offered great consultation and ideas we had not thought od. They showed us a design that looked awesome. but the picture was pale in comparison to what the final product looked like. Our yard looks soooo awesome. OVER THE TOP. i will never go anywhere else for landscaping. We will have them do our front yard next year. Jerry Green
