My wife worked with Amy to select and design the kitchen backsplash in our kitchen remodel. She was very professional and helpful in selecting the materials and designing pattern that my wife was looking for in her kitchen. When we discovered that we were going to be short on one of the types of tile, it was quickly ordered and the installer worked in our schedule to finish the job. As for the final product, my wife said it best, "It turned out beautiful!"

Star Lumber is NOT standing behind their product. Luxury vinyl plank installed in a newly built home started looking old and worn within 2 weeks of moving in. After a year of them trying to clean it with different products, they are now telling us we could put the sticky mats (like at construction sites) at each door of our new home and suggested we sweep our front porch, something we do routinely. They claim there is nothing wrong with this floor despite how bad it looks and how poorly it is wearing. They claim to be flooring experts and that complete customer satisfaction is their goal. They have proven neither of these things to us. Our builder, site manager, and multiple other people have told us this floor is not performing as it should. Star continues to tell us there is nothing wrong with it. "Star carries the very highest quality of materials". "You get not only the product warranty and the installer's warranty but Star's 75-year reputation standing behind every product and every installation." These are words from their web site. You don't get these things with luxury vinyl plank, a product they claimed pre-purchase was durable and one of the best we could buy. And you don't get these things after the sale when the product does not perform. Star has walked away from the situation, leaving us in a brand new home with terrible looking floors. "It's literally the foundation on which you'll bring your vision to life." The statement they make with regard to flooring. Having never built a new home, this was a vision, and a dream. It has become a nightmare.

Just used Star for hardwood floors and they were AMAZING people to work with. Installation was A+. Fast and beautifully done. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. Quick responses to all my emails and questions. Helpful in person and on phone. One glitch with project, which was beyond Star's control, and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. Will highly recommend.

Kim and Nancy at the West Wichita Star Location were wonderful to work with on both of our projects. They made the kitchens exactly like the sketches we brought into the store and even offered suggestions to maximize our storage space and perfected our cabinet and drawer configurations. I would highly recommend them to anyone doing a kitchen remodel/redesign!!
