Ström Architects is a contemporary architecture practice based in the New Forest. We specialise in unique modern homes, but also have experience in larger-scale residential schemes, and the arts sector. The practice was founded in 2010, and since then the practice has grown in size and in reputation: we have been recognised through various awards - both nationally and internationally. Our work is mainly UK-based but has also expanded to include projects in Europe and America. We are a small office, but with a lot of passion for what we do. Being small means that we can offer a personal service to our clients, and we take pride in the positive, lasting relationships that we create.

I have been constantly impressed by the quality and ingenuity of the work Ström Architects have achieved. As a photographer I see the work more closely than most and also get a chance to see the way that clients experience the spaces they have commissioned, the attention to detail and the innovations in design are apparent everywhere you look. When I visit a Ström Architecture space I am affected by the warmth and respect that Ström’s clients have for Magnus and the team and also by how much they love the spaces they are living in.

Storm Architects provided a tailored service and a very well conceived design. We had specific ideas which were embraced and expanded upon and we are delighted with our new home. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the design and build process and were committed to the highest possible standards in detailing.

Magnus took on our detailed list of requirements and delivered them within a building which exceeded our expectations both aesthetically and practically. He dealt with patience and forbearing with contractors who were not always familiar with what he sought to achieve, whilst providing reassurance to us, his clients. No detail of the finish was too small fto escape his, or his wonderful assistant Emma's, attention, and he delivered a distinctive building which we nevertheless regard as uniquely 'ours'.
