James and Studio J have been the architects on 3 projects I have done over the past 14 years, a residential full house extension and refurb, a smaller rear extension and a commercial building remodel. Every time the James has been fantastic from initial ideas through to detailed drawings and navigating the planning and building regulation requirements. James always thinks outside the box to come up with innovative ways to achieve the desired outcome, we got one project in a national magazine! Service is efficient, detailed, informative and value for money, I would always recommend.

Superb service from Tom and James. We had lots of issues with a previous set of drawings for a full house renovation and Tom & James helped us navigate some tricky building and planning queries we ended up with. Really quick in terms of response times and a no nonsense approach. Wouldn't hesitate in working with the team again. Great advice and guidance throughout.

Excellent service from James and his team, they were very quick to respond to queries and were always available to help. They designed a side return extension for a Victorian property, which turned out great. I am currently tendering out for builders which James is assisting with and hope to start construction next year. Would highly recommend!

Studio J did the design and planning for my house conversion in 2020. James was very efficient and kept plans to budget. He gets back to you quickly and has a clear understanding of what’s are actually required and the £ available rather than ‘head in the clouds’ designs.
