Swag Paper

I loved the pattern, customer service was great, and shipping was prompt, but unfortunately the product was not as advertised. Our general contractor and two professional wallpaper hangers declined to hang the paper, citing previous problems with similar paper. One pro was able to hang one piece, but found that when the paper stretched significantly (which I was able to confirm trying to hang it myself), creating creases and bubbles, and making it difficult to line up the next piece. For the price, I expected much better quality. On the advice of the pros I called in for this project, I'll be replacing with traditional paper.

I initially bought just one sample of Swag's Paris map paper, because I was thinking of using it on an accent wall in my kitchen. While I was very impressed with the paper's quality and ease of application, I decided that particular pattern would be overwhelming on the wall I'd intended it for. I loved the design so much, however, that I kept the sample and moved it around from spot to spot in the kitchen, until at last I knew where it would work perfectly: as a pop of pattern at the back wall of a glass-front cabinet. I ordered two more samples--which the obliging folks at Swag printed up for me as one 12 x 24" piece, instead of two 12" squares, and in five minutes, my little cabinet was all glammed up! The Swag staff even sent me a second sample in the sepia tone (without my asking, and at no extra charge), so I could see if I liked it better than the white I'd ordered. I was so impressed with the product and the level of customer service--even for my tiny order--that I'm now planning to use two other patterns on big walls in a bedroom/bath renovation. I'm not a renter--I could use traditional wallpaper if I wanted, and have in other rooms in my house--but Swag paper is so stylish and easy to work with that I doubt I'll ever go back to messy wetting and pasting.

Just moving into my first house I knew would be an exciting challenge! The first task was to decorate with my new roommate! We decided we wanted something fun and interesting and boy did we get it! After researching we knew we did not want to damage the walls, and we came across Swag Paper. Thanks to Swag Paper our living room is the biggest hit in the house! The application of the paper was very easy as it perfectly lined up, and fit flawlessly on our living room wall. The customer service was amazing, and I couldn't help but to appreciate how they worked with me to design a specific color to perfectly match my walls! Our 1782 Classic Hemisphere map has for sure been the talk of the house since we moved in! Wow, I'm not only blown away by their beautiful and easy-to-apply products, I'm blown away by their customer service. I'm a college student just moving into my first apartment and my roommate and I thought, "What better way to make this place feel like home than to wallpaper it? Add some life to the place?" Low and behold, we're not allowed to paint or permanently wall paper our apartment so Swagpaper was the perfect solution to our problem. We ordered two strips of their wallpaper immediately upon seeing it (we should've measured our wall first, but you know, these are things you learn). Upon telling my parents about how we'd ordered wall paper, they asked if we had measured before which we had not ant then immediately did. The two pieces of wall paper would be too small to cover the area we'd wanted covered. I got on the phone with Swagpaper customer service, was almost immediately connected to a representative (a real live person representative) who could not have been nicer. I told him what'd happened and he told me that luckily the order hadn't gone out yet so, much to my relief, they could easily amend it to be two larger pieces of wall paper. This was not the only flub on my behalf that Swagpaper handled with grace: I also flubbed in writing my new address. The order was shipped to us very quickly after processing and should've arrived only two days later but it never showed. I checked the tracking code they sent us and saw that it had been shipped back to the sender because I'd miswritten a number in my address. I e-mailed Swagpaper this time asking if they'd be able to resend the paper to my now corrected address and again they said of course and kindly obliged this bumbling college student. Once we received our paper, we were so pleased. It's beautiful and really adds to the entire aura and comfort of the room. I couldn't recommend this company more highly.
