We're not your average rug gallery! Founded in 2014, Tavares Oriental may be a baby, but our roots in this business go back almost 40 years! Tavares Oriental is a division of Decor Terminal & Marina's INTERIOR DESIGN, a mom & pop shop thats been operating continuously in Dundas West since the mid 70's. Using the knowledge gained working in "the family biz", owner BJ only imports the finest rugs and home textiles from around the world! Working endlessly with local craftsmen & artisans, we ensure that all our products are made with superior quality and conscious in mind. All our products are Fair Trade, and there is absolutely NO CHILD LABOUR USED EVER. Our rugs are an expression of the hood we're in, bold & full of character! BJ Owner

I have never had an experience at Tavares Oriental that was not 100% positive. BJ and his staff provide caring, personal customer service, flexibility, and creativity in helping my clients get exactly what they want. The products that they source are of absolutely beautiful quality and very well-priced. There is no other place I would shop for rugs.

BJ and the team at Tavares are wonderful to work with. If you have any specific requests / requirements they go above and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied. Its a great experience to shop with them and we are so happy with the items that we have! They truly have some of the highest quality ruga that ive seen. We will definitely be back to get more things in the future :)

I have been working with this company for many years and have always had reliable service. I have had custom carpets made which came in on budget and in a timely manner. I have also had furniture refinished and reupholstered and every job was to my satisfaction. They have also manufactured all kinds of window coverings from blinds to curtains of all styles and they are always professional to work with.

I have taken numerous clients to Tavares Oriental and each one is 100% thrilled with their product. Customer service is fantastic, they have amazing products and they're a pleasure to work with! Benito goes out of his way to make sure you're happy and ensures that whatever you buy works in your space. I highly recommend Tavares Oriental - you won't be disappointed!!
