Owner Jim Myers has been in the custom closet industry since 1991. In 2001, he and a friend launched Twin Cities Closet Company with a goal to have a locally owned custom closet and cabinet business that would be known for top quality work at a fair price. Their success is largely based on his choice of employees who create unique, interesting designs, precise manufacturing and quality installation. Jim’s business partner left Twin Cities Closet Company in 2010 to focus on his interests in teaching. Jeanne Moynihan Myers joined the company in 2010 and handles the financial end of the business along with sales, marketing and human resources. They continue to improve their standards and quality by purchasing and using state of the art design and manufacturing equipment and having a great team. Twin Cities Closet Company offers customization of any space in the home. From closets to garages and from wall beds to pantries, any space can be customized to fit your lifestyle. As a local business, we strive to make our community proud. We cant want to be your local partner in making space for your life!

Twin Cities Closet Co provided shelves for all of our closets as well as a few other areas in our new home. From the initial design consultation with Therese through installation by Brett and Kyle, it was a very thorough, professional and positive experience. Therese guided us through their numerous material and design options, and after a few plan iterations to tweak some components, we finalized the plan and pricing. The cabinets were completed on a timely basis - actually ahead of when our builder was prepared to have them installed - and the installation was not only well done amidst several other on-site activities as the house was being completed, but cheerfully. A 5 star experience for product quality, service and value received!

We added a set of closets in a room along one wall. That gave us additional clothes storage and added drawers and shelves. It was installed by Dylan. He did a great job and was very professional. We are very satisfied. Sandy Breed

We are very pleased with our closets. Sandi came to our new home and met with us at the beautiful store. Many clever ideas. We built our forever home and were naive to the closet world. We did get one other estimate and found TC to have fair prices. Joth was our installer. Very professional and knowledgeable. No errors. Fun guy to have at the home. We recommend this company highly.

I would not work with this company again if you paid me to. Their measurements were completely off in our custom home (we had over four planning meetings equating to over six hours spent in person). They had to come out four times after we moved in to fix the problems that are still not fixed after over a year. One of the removeable shelves hit my mom in the head, they are not secure at all. The latest and greatest is that my daughter spent a night in the ER after the shelf came out of the wall and hit her in the face resulting in eleven stiches and a broken nose. Twin Cities closets have taken no ownership for any of this. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!

We had Twin Cities Closet Company to complete our laundry room a few years ago and have been very happy with the quality of the cabinets. We hired again recently to do an office project, and while it's not complete yet, the service has been fantastic, and they have also improved some of their product offerings. We have been working with Chi and highly recommend her.

Twin Cities Closet Company was recommended to us by our designer, Lisa Ball. We were so happy with our master closet that we called them back to re design our kitchen pantry. Excellent service from beginning to end. We used them about 10 years ago for our other home and were quick to cal them again now that we moved. The design was perfect and we had no idea how much we could now fit in the closet. The designer (Chi) was so knowledgeable and the installers were timely, neat, polite. Highly recommend - worth the price.

The design consultant was incredibly professional, great listening skills, and wonderful turnaround time on communication. After she provided us our initial design mockup, my husband and I changed our minds on the closet design. I emailed her what we wanted adjusted and then we scheduled a FaceTime call so I could see the new design. It was great that we were able to do that without needing to meet in person again. Also, the gentleman who installed the closet was professional, easy to work with, fast, communicated well and cleaned up after himself. Between the great staff, affordable prices and quality of material, I would use them again in a heartbeat for a future project.

Therese is a great designer. She has such great ideas and suggestions, and is honest in her opinions when I sought her advice, which I so appreciate as I value her expertise and perspective. I’m always thrilled with the end product and quickly become the envy of our friends to which I simply tell them they must contact Therese when they decide to organize their spaces and closets. Bill and Logan were very well organized, professional, and cleaned up so well you couldn’t even tell it was "closet install day”. Therese met with me on the weekend to map out the designs. Julie was great as well keeping me informed of the upcoming install date and securing my spot on the calendar. At every point in the process the team delivered in a meaningful way.

I cannot tell you how incredibly happy I am with my new closets. The folks at Twin Cities Closets are absolutely top notch. The service was amazing from start to finish. The workmanship was beautiful. Mid way through the project we had an issue with a warped door and our project manager was all over It. In no time we had the door replaced as well as the other 2 that they did not feel were up to their quality standards. These guys are committed to delivering on their promise of excellence. Now that we are done we’re going to hire them for 2 more projects! Thank you so much.
