Two Hands Interiors specializes in creating artful, unique spaces that marry function with style. With an eye towards comfort and livability, we design homes and businesses that reflect the inspiration and personalities of our clients. We favor story and patina over perfection. We believe the best interiors are livable and yet inspiring, telling a story - reflecting the personalities and passions of their inhabitants. We listen to our clients, ask the right questions, and then co-create an interior that balances beauty with livability. Art inspires us, and informs our process inherently. We create spaces that are collected; grounded in tradition but appreciating playfullness and whimsy. Our approach for commercial interiors offers boutique customer service, grounded in relationship with our clients. We enjoy creating outstanding environments that express a brand and company aesthetic. Our corporate work is anything but expected, and we love a challenge and getting out of the box. Why Two Hands? The etiology of our name flows from our founder’s work as a fine art sculptor. Meant to imply literally a ‘hands on’ approach, the name today carries with it our desire to create interiors organically - to collect and curate rather than follow a formula.

I have worked with Rachel, Bryn and Karen on many renovation projects at our home for several years. Their design, creativity, professionalism and attention to detail are unmatched. They always made me feel like their most important client. We absolutely love everything they have done, which is almost every room in our home. We continue to get compliments on their work. Sadly we have to leave our home to move to another state. The only thing I am looking forward to is Two Hands helping me with our new home in Georgia. Thank you Two Hands Interiors team!!!

Two Hands has been fantastic to work with... so much so that we've used the team for 3 different projects to date (both personal and business). Whether or not we could create an environment in which our customers not only felt welcome, but wanted to return was, frankly, my biggest fear. I'm please to say that we receive compliments regarding our space almost daily (not to mention the compliments we receive regarding our home).

WOW! What can we say! We loved working with Two Hands Interiors. Everyone we worked with were so approachable, friendly and talented. We needed our first ever juice, smoothie & salad bar to have a design that spoke to our mission of JOY and health. Rachel, Bryn and team were amazing in taking a few of our likes and created something beyond our imagination. We absolutely love the space, the color, the lights, the furniture and woodwork they designed for us. We are so happy every time we walk through the doors! Two Hands helped us select all of the interior finishes, office furniture, and interior/exterior colors to create our new office environment. Rachel and Bryn were just amazing. They took a small house and made it just spectacular. Everyone who goes in the "little house" loves it. The colors are warm and comforting and decorations that they found were just right. This was a very big project, but they made it all seem very seamless. I would not hesitate in recommending Two Hands Interiors, you will be very happy.

As a furniture maker, I love working with designers who think specifically about how each piece or furnishing will fit into each project. There is no sense of one size fits all. Some of my very projects have been with Two Hands Interiors on furniture that was uniquely created with their clients in mind.

What I loved most about Two Hands Interiors is that they tried to understand what my style was instead of impose their own style on me. They would show me several options and I would be able to select from those or ask for additional options. Two Hands quickly learned what I liked and didn't like. They have truly wonderful taste. For example, Two Hands absolutely nailed the selection of material for drapery and wallpaper on the first try. They also showed me light fixtures that I would not have selected on my own but now love. I also appreciated their guidance on what options would be the best for resale. As the project continued, I learned to trust their judgment and am truly delighted with the final product. They were also willing to change options according to our budget.

I don't know where to begin to express my satisfaction with Rachel Alcorn and Two Hands Interiors. From the beginning of our design process for our new construction project, Rachel worked with me to understand how my family lives. She made beautiful, yet practical, recommendations. She offered creative ideas and pushed me to consider unique options outside of my comfort zone. She worked professionally and seamlessly with the builder through the process. I'm thrilled with the end result--our home is beautiful, comfortable and functional!
