I visited some of the projects of the these designers first hand and was impressed with their product. We laid out a $20,000 deposit but within a couple weeks realized that we would not be proceeding with the build and would be staying in our original house so that our kids could stay at the school they love. There had been virtually no design work done, and while the it was "nonrefundable" the deposit was supposed to be applied to the hourly rate of the services provided. When I asked for a refund, less whatever expenses for the email communications, the firm told me they would be keeping the entire deposit, citing passing up on other clients in the 5 week interval between the deposit and the decision not to proceed as the reason for keeping the money. There were other statements made that should have clued me into their frivolousness, and I am only glad that I found out about their lack of budgetary concern before engaging them further. Our plans were for a several million dollar build, but the very idea of financial restraint doesn't seem to enter into their thought process. I think the "W" stands for Wasteful, and I would not use them if you don't want to throw money out the "W"indow.

We take our commitments to our clients and their level of expectation very seriously, and our policies are in place to ensure transparency and commitment on both sides. After 20+ years of successful working relationships and exceeding our client’s expectations, with regret we accept in this case there is no opportunity for resolution.

We hired W Design to do a whole house design and are very disappointed in the design and our dealings with Wendy. She re-used furniture selections for our house that she had selected for other condos and homes. She picked a Dining Room table that had to be returned twice. The first time it arrived damaged and the second time it had a defective finish. She never helped us find another table and just abandoned us to find a table on our own. She tried to charge us a $10,000 up-charge on draperies for our home. We decided to purchase those on our own when we discovered the up-charge on top of retail prices. She also goofed on the layout of the Living Room. When all the furniture arrived, it was like a fortress to try and get in to sit on the couch. Thankfully, her assistant designer agreed that we had too much furniture and they took back several pieces. A console that was selected for the Office was cheap and overpriced. Overall, a very poor experience and we had to hire another designer to finish the project.

Professional, personable, creative and immensely talented are just a few of the words that come to mind when describing Wendy Berry and her entire team at W Design. I have had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with the W Design team on a number of their projects and can honestly say that it has been my best experience working with a designer. Not only does Wendy have an amazing gift for designing but she also has and eye and appreciation for incorporating fine art into her projects. While many designers don't pay close attention to this design element, Wendy sees fine art as an essential and valued part of her overall design scheme. W Design goes to great lengths to make their designs sophisticated, timeless and comfortable. The spaces they create are not only gorgeous, but more importantly, they make it a home to be lived in and enjoyed. The attention to detail, right down to the smallest accessory, is a testament to the time and effort they put into their work. I mentioned many great attributes that Wendy has as a designer but, perhaps the best and most important word to describe her is caring. She and her team truly care about their clients needs, wants and sense of aesthetics and will go over and beyond to make their expectations a reality. Above all though, and most obvious to me, is that they genuinely care about their clients as people and treat them like family. While there are many talented designers working today I can say, without hesitation, that there are none better then Wendy Berry and the team at W Design!

Wendy Berry and her team were very professional, and a pleasure to work with. She did an amazing job working closely with us, to create our beautifully appointed home in Naples, Florida. She combined her artistic vision along with our taste to design a beach-casual, yet sophisticated home. The level of attention to detail she employs in her work, is exceptional! Wendy's overall enthusiasm, creativity and the professionalism of her team, added to the ease of the entire project. WDesigns is a very Professional group of women who are very experienced. With my project they got me right away - they knew my taste and from the beginning they were able to nail down my choices. We decided to use W Design because they came to us with the highest recommendations from clients that utilized their services in our community. W design redesigned my kitchen in Naples fl. Wendy and Jenna did a fantastic job. From the design to the completion they were there every step of the way! As a matter of fact my kitchen is so fantastic that it won the aurora kitchen award...ny chic ..look it up! We were so pleased that we have had them redesign our master bath and powder room! We first came into contact with W Design when looking at model homes in Naples, FL. The units we felt best worked with our aesthetic were those done by W Designs. Ultimately, when we decided to totally renovate our own condo, we hired W Designs and have been very pleased with the results.

We wanted to use W Design for our project, as we had seen a magnificent home W Design had built/decorated with the owners. For us, the process has been very smooth. From taking a concept and creating said concept into our style and taste is what the design team excels in. Our project is a complete house remodel and we couldn't have done it without Wendy and her team at W Design. We have ripped the house down to the studs and rebuilt it. It is fabulous! All the staff is truly professional from the administrative assistants, CAD designers and product selection designers. They took our blueprints, made beneficial changes and brought our design to life with 3-D renderings. They are very creative and inventive and totally understood the outcomes we were looking for while, at the same time, worked very harmoniously with all the trades. The furniture, which we selected from pictures, turned out to be extremely comfortable and beautiful. The professionals at W Design were a joy to work with from start to finish and we would encourage anyone who is looking for a special environment, be it residential or commercial, to engage them.

Wendy Berry and her team delivered an incredible job by listening to what we wanted and making it happen. Their ability to make each room as we envisioned was incredible. They are true professionals and have all the resources including a lovely studio in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. For our new home they built a bedroom into a Parisian apartment (as my daughter wanted), a wine cellar/cigar room (as I wanted) an aspen lodge feel for my snowboarding son among many more unique rooms with maintaining complete comfortableness which we stressed. She has some great ideas on outside hardscapes and pool setting that are incredible. The furniture that she sourced was top quality and unique to our tastes. Much of what she brought to our project was quality people, products and her process is great.
