After settling on a contemporary farmhouse aesthetic, Melissa filled the space with warm tones and a few carefully selected colorful accents. Her work elegantly complimented the built-in stone fireplace, and resulted in a cozy, cottage atmosphere that is perfectly suited for family time

Situamos la zona de vida y zonas comunes en la cara sur de la vivienda, y zonas privadas de descanso en la cara norte. Reutilizamos algunas las carpinterías preexistentes , facilitando por medio de espacios abiertos las ventilaciones cruzadas , impermeabilizamos las paredes con corcho negro natural , y utilizamos pinturas ecológicas ,siempre intentando ajustarnos a los presupuestos , a reducir el impacto lo mínimo posible ,como resultado tenemos un espacio amplio de trabajo , descanso , juego y comida con bien iluminados que recogen todo el sol en invierno y bien ventilados en verano y zonas de descanso y privadas , bien aisladas en invierno y frescas en verano. Design Inspirations Inc.We freshened up this family room with new styling pieces, fabrics and furniture accenting the homeowners' art. The goal was a liveable family room with a mix of softness and colour. The room flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining nook.

Design Solutions, Inc.Where old meets new and where form meets function. Our clients wanted to salvage as much of the existing home's materials to be integrated with our design. Existing mahogany flooring, new wall switches that look like old push button switches, wood door knobs and more fill this home with the history in which it came from.

Studio 3iLa porte d'entrée est précédé d'un long escalier menant sur rue. Nous l'avons habillée d'un hublot de verre pour rappeler l'esprit bateau. Nous avons parsemé le mur de brique de verre afin d'apporter de la luminosité dans l'escalier d'entrée. Un vidéophone permet d'ouvrir aux invités depuis l'esapce de vie. L'ilot central sert également de table de séjour, de bar et de plan de travail. Un poele a été aménager pour chauffer tous l'appartement grâce au conduit qui traverse le premier étage et la mezzanine.
Anna Rodé Designs, Inc.The existing fireplace received a new granite hearth and mantle. In addition, the room was transformed by adding ample cabinetry, making the entertainment center much more attractive and useful. Well-designed lighting makes the room more attractive, as well as more useful for the residents to display their art collection.
Curtain CallDesigner Lindsay Fuller and I worked with our client to find just the right fabric for a large traversing thermal drapery to cover this extra wide sliding door that faces a lake i this family room. Lindsay and our client had redecorated with a new gray sofa an d love seat, a new rug and a newly upholstered chair with a mult stripe fabric. Our client chose a fabulous Robert Allen fabric, white with a red pattern, just enough color to pull the various elements in the room together.
