The house was built in 1963 and is reinforced cinder block construction, unusual for California, which makes any renovation work trickier. The kitchen we replaced featured all maple cabinets and floors and pale pink countertops. With the remodel we didn’t change the layout, or any window/door openings. The cabinets may read as white, but they are actually cream with an antique glaze on a flat panel door. All countertops and backsplash are granite. The original copper hood was replaced by a custom one in zinc. Dark brick veneer fireplace is now covered in white limestone. The homeowners do a lot of entertaining, so even though the overall layout didn’t change, I knew just what needed to be done to improve function. The husband loves to cook and is beyond happy with his 6-burner stove.

Southeast Interior Design, Inc.This client requested to design with aging in place details Note walk-in curbless shower,, shower benches to sit and place toiletries. Hand held showers in two locations, one at bench and standing shower options. Grab bars are placed vertically to grab onto in shower. Blue Marble shower accentuates the vanity counter top marble. Under-mount sinks allow for easy counter top cleanup. Glass block incorporated rather than clear glass. AS aging occurs clear glass is hard to detect. Also water spray is not as noticeable. Travertine walls and floors.
UserThis rustic modern bathroom has a large shower with shower curtain, brown faux wood tile and white walls. The large rectangle sink features silver hardware.

Christopher's Kitchen & BathA large, less restrictive space can sometimes be a challenge to remodel as the possibilities are truly unlimited. The goal was to create a functional and warm space that still felt open, clean and utilized the large space well.
Custom glass panel cabinetry with sliding doors and a central drawer bank features ample storage and even multiple standard outlets inside. Vessel sinks sit atop the custom quartz counters that compliment the stone resin free standing bath.
On the back side of the central wall is a walk in, from both sides, his and hers shower. Custom tile through out ties both sides of this large bath together. The shower features multiple niches.
Chester County Kitchen & BathGorgeous dream bathroom with Echelon cabinetry, Wesley in Linen with Pewter Glaze. Heated radiant floor. Lovely warm light and custom shower. Large bathroom remodel with wide plank flooring and radiant heat. Granite is a gorgeous Bianco Antico. Chester County Kitchen and Bath made custom mirrors to match cabinetry. So many final touches produced a spectacular bathroom oasis!
CLPM LimitedThis large bathroom is a very classic design - being both modern and yet in keeping with the history of the building. The large windows let in plenty of light. Shutters can be used to aid privacy. There is a lot of storage which means the space is always tidy and tranquil.
CLPM project manager tip - when installing a heated towel rail always make sure that it is controlled separately from the main central heating system. That way you can switch it on and off as required and save money on your electricity bills.
Innovate Building SolutionsThis curved walk in glass block shower wall combines both obscure "wave" pattern glass blocks in the lower rows for privacy with 2 rows of "clear" (see-through) blocks on the upper rows to have sight into the bathroom.
