Studio FabbriReconfiguration of a dilapidated bathroom and separate toilet in a Victorian house in Walthamstow village.
The original toilet was situated straight off of the landing space and lacked any privacy as it opened onto the landing. The original bathroom was separate from the WC with the entrance at the end of the landing. To get to the rear bedroom meant passing through the bathroom which was not ideal. The layout was reconfigured to create a family bathroom which incorporated a walk-in shower where the original toilet had been and freestanding bath under a large sash window. The new bathroom is slightly slimmer than the original this is to create a short corridor leading to the rear bedroom.
The ceiling was removed and the joists exposed to create the feeling of a larger space. A rooflight sits above the walk-in shower and the room is flooded with natural daylight. Hanging plants are hung from the exposed beams bringing nature and a feeling of calm tranquility into the space.

Inscope Management Services LtdTwo very cramped en-suite shower rooms have been reconfigured and reconstructed to provide a single spacious and very functional en-suite bathroom.
The work undertaken included the planning of the 2 bedrooms and the new en-suite, structural alterations to allow the wall between the original en-suites to be removed allowing them to be combined. Ceilings and floors have been levelled and reinforced, loft space and external walls all thermally insulated.
A new pressurised hot water system has been introduced allowing the removal of a pumped system, 2 electric showers and the 2 original hot and cold water tanks which has the added advantage of creating additional storage space.
Haile Kitchen & Bath LLCThis stunning Gainesville bathroom design is a spa style retreat with a large vanity, freestanding tub, and spacious open shower. The Shiloh Cabinetry vanity with a Windsor door style in a Stonehenge finish on Alder gives the space a warm, luxurious feel, accessorized with Top Knobs honey bronze finish hardware. The large L-shaped vanity space has ample storage including tower cabinets with a make up vanity in the center. Large beveled framed mirrors to match the vanity fit neatly between each tower cabinet and Savoy House light fixtures are a practical addition that also enhances the style of the space. The large master bathroom includes a separate toilet compartment with a Toto toilet for added privacy, and is connected to the bedroom and the walk-in closet, all via pocket doors. The main part of the bathroom includes a luxurious freestanding Victoria + Albert bathtub situated near a large window with a Riobel chrome floor mounted tub spout. It also has a one-of-a-kind open shower with a cultured marble gray shower base, 12 x 24 polished Venatino wall tile with 1" chrome Schluter Systems strips used as a unique decorative accent. The shower includes a storage niche and shower bench, along with rainfall and handheld showerheads, and a sandblasted glass panel. Next to the shower is an Amba towel warmer. The bathroom cabinetry by Koch and Company incorporates two vanity cabinets and a floor to ceiling linen cabinet, all in a Fairway door style in charcoal blue, accented by Alno hardware crystal knobs and a super white granite eased edge countertop. This guest bathroom’s shower glass partition is the perfect solution for creating the feeling of an open shower without the need of a swinging door. The seamless single pane glass allows the maximum amount of light to pervade the room, resulting in an open and airy feel in an otherwise limited space.
The Brunello Quartz vanity top matches beautifully with the 12x24 Bianco Carrera tiles in the shower and on the floor. This homeowner opted for an under mount rectangular sink which lends to the clean lines of the cabinet that adds a contemporary element to the room.

Mariano & Co., LLCIn this complete floor to ceiling removal, we created a zero-threshold walk-in shower, moved the shower and tub drain and removed the center cabinetry to create a MASSIVE walk-in shower with a drop in tub. As you walk in to the shower, controls are conveniently placed on the inside of the pony wall next to the custom soap niche. Fixtures include a standard shower head, rain head, two shower wands, tub filler with hand held wand, all in a brushed nickel finish. The custom countertop upper cabinet divides the vanity into His and Hers style vanity with low profile vessel sinks. There is a knee space with a dropped down countertop creating a perfect makeup vanity. Countertops are the gorgeous Everest Quartz. The Shower floor is a matte grey penny round, the shower wall tile is a 12x24 Cemento Bianco Cassero. The glass mosaic is called “White Ice Cube” and is used as a deco column in the shower and surrounds the drop-in tub. Finally, the flooring is a 9x36 Coastwood Malibu wood plank tile.
