Bathrooms By OldhamThe newly designed timeless, contemporary bathroom was created providing much needed storage whilst maintaining functionality and flow. A light and airy skheme using grey large format tiles on the floor and matt white tiles on the walls. A two draw custom vanity in timber provided warmth to the room. The mirrored shaving cabinets reflected light and gave the illusion of depth. Strip lighting in niches, under the vanity and shaving cabinet on a sensor added that little extra touch.
Pinnacle Design & RemodelingThese clients wanted a scandinavian feel so dark tones with light woods, we were here for it! We did a fun black hexagon floor, to brighten it up we have a plain white shower tile with a brown chevron accent. This accent tile helps tie in the freestanding vanity and to compliment the flooring we did black fixtures.

Richmond Hill Design + BuildRichmond Hill Design + Build brings you this gorgeous American four-square home, crowned with a charming, black metal roof in Richmond’s historic Ginter Park neighborhood! Situated on a .46 acre lot, this craftsman-style home greets you with double, 8-lite front doors and a grand, wrap-around front porch. Upon entering the foyer, you’ll see the lovely dining room on the left, with crisp, white wainscoting and spacious sitting room/study with French doors to the right. Straight ahead is the large family room with a gas fireplace and flanking 48” tall built-in shelving. A panel of expansive 12’ sliding glass doors leads out to the 20’ x 14’ covered porch, creating an indoor/outdoor living and entertaining space. An amazing kitchen is to the left, featuring a 7’ island with farmhouse sink, stylish gold-toned, articulating faucet, two-toned cabinetry, soft close doors/drawers, quart countertops and premium Electrolux appliances. Incredibly useful butler’s pantry, between the kitchen and dining room, sports glass-front, upper cabinetry and a 46-bottle wine cooler. Laundry room, with cabinetry and counter space, is conveniently located off of the classic central hall upstairs. Three additional bedrooms, all with walk-in closets, round out the second floor, with one bedroom having attached full bath and the other two bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill bath. Lovely hickory wood floors, upgraded Craftsman trim package and custom details throughout!
catlin stothers designThe decision to either renovate the upper and lower units of a duplex or convert them into a single-family home was a no-brainer. Situated on a quiet street in Montreal, the home was the childhood residence of the homeowner, where many memories were made and relationships formed within the neighbourhood. The prospect of living elsewhere wasn’t an option.
A complete overhaul included the re-configuration of three levels to accommodate the dynamic lifestyle of the empty nesters. The potential to create a luminous volume was evident from the onset. With the home backing onto a park, westerly views were exploited by oversized windows and doors. A massive window in the stairwell allows morning sunlight to filter in and create stunning reflections in the open concept living area below.
The staircase is an architectural statement combining two styles of steps, with the extended width of the lower staircase creating a destination to read, while making use of an otherwise awkward space.
White oak dominates the entire home to create a cohesive and natural context. Clean lines, minimal furnishings and white walls allow the small space to breathe.
Kathy Kuo Designs IncTo still achieve that chic, modern rustic look - walls were kept in white and contrasting that is a dark gray painted door. A vanity made of concrete with a black metal base takes the modern appeal even further and we paired that with faucets and framed mirrors finished in black as well. An industrial dome pendant in black serves as the main lighting and industrial caged bulb pendants are placed by the mirrors as accent lighting.
