Marion Dubost Décoratrice d'intérieurLa salle de bain vieillotte s'est transformée en un havre de douceur et de fraicheur. Un grès cérame imitation carreau de ciment a été posé sur le mur de la douche pour apporter du cachet. Le mur juxtaposé a été peint dans une teinte vert d'eau qui rappelle la faience, ce qui permet de faire ressortir les éléments muraux.

We gave new life to all three bathrooms in her home, making better use of the space in the powder bathroom, optimizing the layout for a brother & sister to share a hall bath, and updating the primary bathroom with a large curbless walk-in shower and luxurious clawfoot tub. Though each bathroom has its own personality, we kept the palette cohesive throughout all three.

Une très grande douche à l'italienne, toute carrelée d'un beau camaïeu de mosaïques aux tons bleu/vert/gris.
Un sol très original et totalement aléatoire bicolore, en carreaux hexagonaux bleus et gris.
Une baignoire droite avec fonctions bouillonnants et jets de massage.
Le tout entouré de carreaux blancs classiques.
Un beau meuble avec double vasque pour le chanceux couple !

Ariel ArtsA great way to unwind or kickstart your day is by using an uplifting bathroom. This bathroom refresh is modern and airy, with shower tiles that add just the right amount of color while keeping it light. The brass hardware in the shower and chandelier add interest, while the simple vanity with wood cabinet doors provides warmth.
White Sands Coastal DevelopmentThe 1,750-square foot Manhattan Beach bungalow is home to two humans and three dogs. Originally built in 1929, the bungalow had undergone various renovations that convoluted its original Moorish style. We gutted the home and completely updated both the interior and exterior. We opened the floor plan, rebuilt the ceiling with reclaimed hand-hewn oak beams and created hand-troweled plaster walls that mimicked the construction and look of the original walls. We also rebuilt the living room fireplace by hand, brick-by-brick, and replaced the generic roof tiles with antique handmade clay tiles.
We returned much of this 3-bed, 2-bath home to a more authentic aesthetic, while adding modern touches of luxury, like radiant-heated floors, bi-fold doors that open from the kitchen/dining area to a large deck, and a custom steam shower, with Moroccan-inspired tile and an antique mirror. The end result is evocative luxury in a compact space.
