Entrada a la vivienda. El eje de la propuesta para la nueva distribución se basa en ampliar al máximo la espacialidad y luminosidad de la vivienda. Para ello, se ha trabajado especialmente la ampliación de los límites visuales del espacio creando una doble fuga. Por una parte, se genera una doble altura en el salón y, por otra, se libera la vista hacia el patio dotando a la vivienda de amplitud espacial y desdibujando el límite entre el interior y el exterior. Esta línea se diluye gracias a la carpintería de cuatro hojas plegables que permite abrir completamente el espacio interior hacia el patio, convirtiendo la zona de comedor y cocina en un porche al aire libre.

Aquí se puede apreciar la unificación de dos estancias que estaban separadas y presentaban dos espacios congestionados, que convertimos en una estancia mucho más amplia y de interacción entre las dos zonas. Así conseguimos una mayor comunicación para los habitantes de la vivienda y en ciertos momentos familiares, mayor espacio para disfrutar.

A garage conversion into a living room space. Our client requested a tranquil space filled with greens, and natural elements they could enjoy. The specification included storage, soft lighting, and the design had to include the client's original sofa and flooring. We created a lived in space, accentuating the walls with panelling and and overall scheme that didn't feel to "done". We limited the amount of soft furnishing, instead opting for floor to ceiling curtains and an area rug. Personal touches were key to this scheme, for this we incorporated the client's desired artwork.

Scandi meets boho in this calm corner of our client's home. The sideboard spans the width of the room, adding ample additional storage for this growing family. A pop of soft pink and brass stands out against the grey limewashed wall behind.

A space that is well illuminated is the key to having a comfortable space where you want to spend time in. In this rich and opulent living room, we add that comfort and illumination with the use of the lighting in this fabulous bespoke unit.

Initialement, la structure du bien était composée d’un plateau de bureau de 91m2 et d’un studio adjacent de 19m2, dans lequel la maîtrise d’ouvrage a souhaité pouvoir réaliser deux appartements de surfaces équivalentes destinés à la location hôtelière (ici nommé l’appartement B). Afin de permettre l’optimisation idéale des lieux et y créer deux chambres et deux salles d’eau, l’ouverture d’un mur porteur fut indispensable. Le poteau central de reprise structurelle délimite ainsi astucieusement les espaces de vie : le salon dans lequel prend place un canapé convertible, un séjour pour 4 à 6 personnes avec banquette coffre, ainsi qu’une cuisine bi colore dont la crédence miroir permet d’accroître les perspectives. Camaïeu de bleu et agencements sur mesure confèrent à cet appartement une ambiance feutrée et intimiste pour ce projet clé en main.

This was for a gentleman who wanted a new look. He had some original pieces such as the lighting and unity table that he wanted to re-use. Old ceilings were skimmed and new lighting installed throughout. New media custom made bespoke /TV wall that my client built on his own from my detail drawings!

Uno de los criterios de partida fue conservar los materiales existentes en el espacio original y mantener el espíritu de la arquitectura tradicional del barrio del Cabanyal en la elección de los nuevos materiales. Los claros protagonistas son la gran puerta de entrada de madera, que se recupera, y el ladrillo original que envuelve el espacio y que destaca gracias a la iluminación indirecta incorporada. Los nuevos materiales, las bovedillas y pavimento de barro, las carpinterías de madera y el azulejo de color, que recuerda a las coloridas fachadas del barrio, armonizan con los materiales originales.
