椿建築所築30年住宅の２階部分を全てリノベーションしたYさんの家。耐震と断熱改修を行い個室をワンルームのLDKに改修。間口９MあるLDKの東西端にある既存天窓３箇所に日射遮蔽用ルーバーを取り付け朝日が射し込む東側壁面をカナリヤ色、夕陽が射し込む西面を薄い茜色で塗装したのはそれぞれ「活動」と「休息」をテーマとしたからである。

Pearl RemodelingWe tore down walls between the living room and kitchen to create an open concept floor plan. Additionally, we added real red bricks to add texture and character to the living room. The wide windows let light travel freely between both spaces, creating a warm and cozy vibe.

by me soft furnishings & upholsteryFrom an existing window valance with tired curtains the customer wanted a new fresh look to their bay window. The roman blinds were made first & fitted which left a slightly empty area so it was suggested that dress curtains & a tailored pelmet was to be added. The pelmet was covered in the same fabric as the blinds & finished with a fine pipe & antique brass nails. The dress curtains were made in a Small patterned fabric, interlined & lined to give a full look with a single pleat heading.
