Do you ever see photos of décor that stops you in your tracks? This project is full of those moments. The clients are from England and wanted to bring some life and color into their bland 1970s home in New Jersey. They have two children, work from home full-time, and are minimalists so it was important to keep things practical while still bringing the spunk to satisfy their love of bright jewel tones. The design challenges here included thinking outside the box and taking risk with color. We also had a small entranceway which is adjacent to the living room where we wanted to make a big impact. This was achieved by using a bold wallpaper on the oddly shaped wall by the stairs. The colors coordinated perfectly with the living room! But the real showstopper here is the custom velvet sofa. The clients are huge fans of velvet so mixing that with their love of bold colors, we were able to create something totally fit for their style and family.

This living room was a point of difference for this house creating a vibrant space to entertain in. The contrast of the yellow of blues provide a uplifting design to a usually mellowed space.

The scheme of this room was designed around the fantastic Matthew Williamson Fanfare wallpaper, which reflects the light. The fan is brought into play in the travel artefacts that adorn the room. The bright, jewel colours make it warm and inviting in the evening, providing a cosy place to share a bottle of wine in front of the fire.

A cosy living room and eclectic bar area seamlessly merged, through the use of a simple yet effective colour palette and furniture placement. The bar was a bespoke design and placed in such away that the architectural features, which were dividing the room, would be incorporated and therefore no longer be predominant. The period beams, on the walls, were further enhanced by setting them against a contemporary colour, and wallpaper, with the wood element carried through to the new floor and bar.

Our home decor refresh is going to take some time and we need to prioritize. Our living room furniture is 36 years old and I still love it though it certainly shows signs of wear. I love my living room and dining room; they're a bit dated but I still love them. After making pillows for the family room I decided to freshen up the living room with pillowscapes. I love these Vervain fabrics in two different color ways.

The aim of the living room was to enrich the area with texture and a vibrant colour palette to make up for the lack of architectural features. The client wanted to prioritise the use of durable materials that can stand the test of time style and functionality. Using natural materials, like solid wood, was a must.

Existing areas of the property were modernised and opened up. Part of a busy house hold with dogs the design had to be striking but practical. This new family area off the open plan kitchen consisted of a custom size large corner sofa, leather bound rug with marble and bronze coffee table. A bespoke dark oak media unit with built in TV and glass lamps provided storage and TV viewing from the kitchen too. Bright citrine yellow armchairs, with cushions in bronze and black accents give colour and interest to the modern scheme. Services:- Layouts, building consultation, electrical layouts & lighting, mouldings supply, wallpaper and designer paint supply, carpeting and rugs, curtains, electric track, cushions, artwork, custom furniture (coffee table. stools, media unit, sofa armchairs), stock furniture (console table, side tables)

This living room is the perfect Asian-inspired design. The dark, textured wallpaper blends with the dark hardwood floors. The white sofa goes well with the bright green chair and blue area rug. A light-up, grasshopper coffee table is the focal point of this space.
