Art of Kitchens Pty LtdThis stunning apartment is situated in the heart of Sydney, at the famous Finger Wharf in Woolloomooloo Bay. This beautiful Edwardian structure is the longest timbered-piled wharf in the world and was completed in 1915.
The client wanted the design and feel of the apartment to recreate the original turn of the century warehouse state. The brief called for an industrial vibe to be created which would complement the original façade and common areas of the building to the new interior of the apartment.
Nar Design GroupOur carpenters labored every detail from chainsaws to the finest of chisels and brad nails to achieve this eclectic industrial design. This project was not about just putting two things together, it was about coming up with the best solutions to accomplish the overall vision. A true meeting of the minds was required around every turn to achieve "rough" in its most luxurious state.
Featuring multiple Columbia Cabinet finishes; contrasting backsplashes, wall textures and flooring are all part of what makes this project so unique! Features include: Sharp microwave drawer, glass front wine fridge, fully integrated dishwasher, Blanco compost bin recessed into the counter, Walnut floating shelves, and barn house lighting.

Landis Architects | BuildersThe interior designer and owner selected white porcelain subway tile for the backsplash, with a patterned cement accent tile at the range top. The dark wood band around the range hood adds an organic touch and matches the open wood shelving.
Rosenblum Coe Architects, Inc.The prevailing theme for the additions and renovations was to provide views of the water at each significant space. The most dramatic of these views can be found in the new “pavilion” at the back of the house, with its rounded porch-like extension and its 16-foot high vaulted ceiling.
The end result of the renovations kept the relaxed feel of the original house and property. Collaboration between different design professions was essential and helped to accomplish the Owner’s desires and needs. With a more sophisticated landscape plan and new construction that respected the original, the house sits as an elegant retreat, hidden away from city life.
