Searle & TaylorDesigned and made specifically to fit in the hallway vestibule of the home, this bespoke boot room was designed by Searle & Taylor in collaboration with interior designers, Wells and Maguire. It features cupboards on either side of bench seating with walnut veneered internal shelving, drawers and pull-down cabinets, together with hooks against the tongue and grooved back panel above the seat. In addition, there is a shelf for storage baskets above the hanging space. The joinery is handpainted in Smoke by Neptune. When discussing the brief for this project, the clients mentioned that they own a robot vacuum cleaner, so a home was created for it by including a recessed space at the base of the cabinetry.
Atlas ArchitectsSituated along the coastal foreshore of Inverloch surf beach, this 7.4 star energy efficient home represents a lifestyle change for our clients. ‘’The Nest’’, derived from its nestled-among-the-trees feel, is a peaceful dwelling integrated into the beautiful surrounding landscape.
Inspired by the quintessential Australian landscape, we used rustic tones of natural wood, grey brickwork and deep eucalyptus in the external palette to create a symbiotic relationship between the built form and nature.
The Nest is a home designed to be multi purpose and to facilitate the expansion and contraction of a family household. It integrates users with the external environment both visually and physically, to create a space fully embracive of nature.

Sustainable KitchensA boot room lies off the kitchen, providing further additional storage, with cupboards, open shelving, shoe storage and a concealed storage bench seat. Iron coat hooks on a lye treated board, provide lots of coat hanging space.

TXTUREDHallway styled with a simple console table set against soft neutral walls, creating a calm transition space. A large abstract artwork in warm tones anchors the wall, paired with sculptural accessories and a vintage wooden chair for added character. Stone flooring in a checker pattern adds contrast and grounds the space with a classic feel.
Alexandra Gorla Architecture d'IntérieurDans cette maison datant de 1993, il y avait une grande perte de place au RDCH; Les clients souhaitaient une rénovation totale de ce dernier afin de le restructurer. Ils rêvaient d'un espace évolutif et chaleureux. Nous avons donc proposé de re-cloisonner l'ensemble par des meubles sur mesure et des claustras. Nous avons également proposé d'apporter de la lumière en repeignant en blanc les grandes fenêtres donnant sur jardin et en retravaillant l'éclairage. Et, enfin, nous avons proposé des matériaux ayant du caractère et des coloris apportant du peps!
