Passacantando Architects AIACirca 1728, this house was expanded on with a new kitchen, breakfast area, entrance hall and closet area. The new second floor consisted of a billiard room and connecting hallway to the existing residence.
STEPHEN FLETCHER ARCHITECTSA corridor leads from the dining room via the WC, utility room and maid's quarters to a secondary staircase up to the front light well and kitchen. It also serves as a picture gallery, with ample lighting provided by the recessed ceiling slot and the low-level wall lights.

INTERIEURS CREATIFSEnfin, pour notre dernière zone d'intervention, nous avons proposé un très beau jaune tournesol pour l'ensemble des murs, plafonds et portes existantes du couloir menant à la chambre parentale, permettant ainsi de créer un effet "boîte".
Nous avons proposé d'habiller l'espace en créant une tête de lit bleue façon alcôve.
La suspension apporte la touche poétique à cette chambre.

UserOur focus on this project in Black Mountain North Carolina was to create a warm, comfortable mountain retreat that had ample room for our clients and their guests. 4 Large decks off all the bedroom suites were essential to capture the spectacular views in this private mountain setting. Elevator, Golf Room and an Outdoor Kitchen are only a few of the special amenities that were incorporated in this custom craftsman home.
Tim Andersen ArchitectStairwell at second floor was opened to underside of roof. Skylights bring light into the center of the house. New bathroom at left continues vaulted ceiling with high windows to borrow some of this light. Wall color is BM "Dorset Gold."
