UserUpdate of a 50's style bathroom with travertine and glass tile, rain showerhead and built in bench
Just the ThingCompleting the master suite is a large bathroom, with enclosed shower (not shown) and separate tub. Since the clients opted for a single sink, we were able to maximize storage in the vanity, both above and below the countertop. A stepped back configuration of shallower cabinets flanking a deeper center takes the vanity from functional to fabulous. Curved lines in the oval sink, scrolled details below the medecine cabinets, and in the tub area add softness and femininity. A strongly figured limestone backsplash in the tub alcove is the highlight of the room.
Giselle Ulmo DesignThis bathroom has warm tiles and a wood custom vanity with a Duravit ceramic sink and Brizo brushed faucet.
Integral Design InteriorsThese custom matching his and hers vanities have all the style and storage that one could ask for. The contemporary freestanding soaking tub floating in a grid like tile floor of Jerusalem Gold Travertine tiles. The rich Oil Rubbed Bronze fittings and espresso finish on the vanities pop against the glow of the floor and walls.
Cabinet-S-TopIn this master bathroom, a large built in jetted tub was removed and replaced with a freestanding tub. Deco floor tile was used to add character. To create more function to the space, a linen cabinet and pullout hamper were added along with a tall bookcase cabinet for additional storage. The wall between the tub and shower/toilet area was removed to help spread natural light and open up the space. The master bath also now has a larger shower space with a Pulse shower unit and custom shower door.
Black Ink InteriorsThe "pirate bathroom" is my favorite. Limestone was used on the floor and in a variety of shapes and sizes in the shower. The blue interior of the claw foot tub is a fun ode to the pirate and his ocean.
One Room at a Time, Inc.Completed in conbination with a master suite finish upgrade. This was a gutt and remodel. Tuscan inspired 3-room master bathroom. 3 vanities. His and hers vanityies in the main space plus a vessel sink vanity adjacent to the toilet and shower. Tub room features a make-up vanity and storage cabinets. Granite countertops. Decorative stone mosaics and oil rubbed bronze hardware and fixtures. Arches help recenter an asymmetrical space.
