Calista Kitchen & Bath
This outdoor bar great for your next pool party! On the Florida coast we deal with salty air that can rust outdoor grills quickly. In this design we built the cabinetry around the space you would typically have for a built in grill but this one is completely free-standing.

Our client's came to us wanting to add a bar to entertain their friends. The walls and flooring were in place in this finished basement. Based on some inspiration images the client brought to us, we designed a space for a feature wall of cabinetry, beautiful granite countertops, appliances, and last but certainly not least; easy access to cold draft beer. An angled wall was added for optimal viewing of the flat screen. Metallic grasscloth wallpaper, a hexagon marble backsplash, and custom window treatments complete the design.

Basement space transformed into a cosy theatre room including a bar space fitted into the under-stair cavity.
The colour scheme inspired by the fabulous natural 'lava like' stone used on the bar bench-top and splash-back.
Luxury furnishings were all custom made to fit the space exactly.

An otherwise unremarkable lower level is now a layered, multifunctional room including a place to play, watch, sleep, and drink. Our client didn’t want light, bright, airy grey and white - PASS! She wanted established, lived-in, stories to tell, more to make, and endless interest. So we put in true French Oak planks stained in a tobacco tone, dressed the walls in gold rivets and black hemp paper, and filled them with vintage art and lighting. We added a bar, sleeper sofa of dreams, and wrapped a drink ledge around the room so players can easily free up their hands to line up their next shot or elbow bump a teammate for encouragement! Soapstone, aged brass, blackened steel, antiqued mirrors, distressed woods and vintage inspired textiles are all at home in this story - GAME ON!
Check out the laundry details as well. The beloved house cats claimed the entire corner of cabinetry for the ultimate maze (and clever litter box concealment).
Overall, a WIN-WIN!

In a cozy den nestled within Jon Cancellino's home, the atmosphere exudes warmth and masculinity, making it the ultimate man cave retreat. As you step inside, your eyes are immediately drawn to the rich, dark brown wood flooring that runs throughout the space. The deep, chocolate hues underfoot create a solid foundation for the room's character.
Above, the ceiling lights cast a soft, inviting glow, illuminating the room's treasures and hidden gems. Suspended on the white ceiling, they punctuate the den with pockets of light, adding to the overall ambiance. The white wall behind the glass cabinet provides a stark, contrasting backdrop, allowing the treasures on display to truly shine.
The glass cabinet stands proudly, showcasing Jon's carefully curated collection of vintage memorabilia, from sports memorabilia to antique curiosities. The transparent glass panels protect and proudly exhibit the cherished contents within, making it a focal point of the room.
To one side, there's a fully equipped kitchenette, featuring an oven, sink, and tap. The stainless steel sink and tap gleam under the ambient lighting, offering both functionality and style. It's here that Jon can whip up his favorite game day snacks or simply enjoy a cold drink with friends.
All around, the AC ducts are cleverly concealed, blending seamlessly with the den's design. They ensure that the room remains comfortable year-round, allowing for hours of entertainment and relaxation without worry about temperature.
With its combination of dark brown wood flooring, ceiling lights, and tasteful displays, Jon Cancellino's man cave is a haven for relaxation and enjoyment, where memories are made and cherished.
