DCI Home ImprovementsTake a look at the latest home renovation that we had the pleasure of performing for a client in Trinity. This was a full master bathroom remodel, guest bathroom remodel, and a laundry room. The existing bathroom and laundry room were the typical early 2000’s era décor that you would expect in the area. The client came to us with a list of things that they wanted to accomplish in the various spaces. The master bathroom features new cabinetry with custom elements provided by Palm Harbor Cabinets. A free standing bathtub. New frameless glass shower. Custom tile that was provided by Pro Source Port Richey. New lighting and wainscoting finish off the look. In the master bathroom, we took the same steps and updated all of the tile, cabinetry, lighting, and trim as well. The laundry room was finished off with new cabinets, shelving, and custom tile work to give the space a dramatic feel.

Design IntuitionsThe small antique chandelier was the inspiration for this powder room, while the acrylic in the wall sconce and mirror add a touch of updated transitional style. The metallic grey wallpaper contrasts beautifully with the white vanity cabinet. The quartz counter top has subtle grey veining with a shaped backsplash and ogee edge and offers a nice backdrop for the polished nickel faucet. Brass on the mirror and sconce tie in nicely with the chinoiserie corner shelf, while framed fern art fill the need for just one piece of art. The powder room offers a space of elegance, if only for a moment!
Cabinet-S-TopIn this master bathroom project, a fiberglass shower was removed and replaced with a more modern larger custom tiled shower with a frameless glass door. We were able to minimize clutter in this small space by adding custom drawers for storage while working around plumbing. An additional sink was added to make the room more functional. Lighted mirrors were utilized to simplify the design and eliminate the need for additional light fixtures, therefore removing visual clutter.
Kitchen Design ConceptsBlack and white can never make a comeback, because it's always around. Such a classic combo that never gets old and we had lots of fun creating a fun and functional space in this jack and jill bathroom. Used by one of the client's sons as well as being the bathroom for overnight guests, this space needed to not only have enough foot space for two, but be "cool" enough for a teenage boy to appreciate and show off to his friends.
The vanity cabinet is a freestanding unit from WW Woods Shiloh collection in their Black paint color. A simple inset door style - Aspen - keeps it looking clean while really making it a furniture look. All of the tile is marble and sourced from Daltile, in Carrara White and Nero Marquina (black). The accent wall is the 6" hex black/white blend. All of the plumbing fixtures and hardware are from the Brizo Litze collection in a Luxe Gold finish. Countertop is Caesarstone Blizzard 3cm quartz.
Lang's Kitchen & BathThis bathroom design in Washington Crossing, PA shows that the inspiration for a design can come from anywhere. The space uses a neutral color palette as its foundation but applies bold pops of color and style in the custom framed mirrors that are like works of art, as well as the wall art and colorful towels. These mirrors were purchased by the homeowners prior to the bathroom remodel and served as inspiration when selecting the rest of the fixtures! The Koch and Company cabinetry in a Prairie door style with a shaker edge is finished in brandy on beech, and includes plenty of storage plus a pull-out hamper. The cabinets are complemented by a Silestone ocean jasper countertop and Top Knobs hardware, with a toe kick night light. A low wall separates the cabinet from the Toto Drake II toilet. Norwell Sobe chrome sconces frame the unique mirrors. The shower includes a thresholdless shower pan with a Fleurco by-pass Gemini Plus shower door, Toto grab bars, a storage niche, shower bench, and two showerheads. The shower tile is Lo Dolimiti white tile and Flyzone Grigio tile adds texture to the bathroom floor.
Let's RemodelThis bathroom had lacked storage with a pedestal sink. The yellow walls and dark tiled floors made the space feel dated and old. We updated the bathroom with light bright light blue paint, rich blue vanity cabinet, and black and white Design Evo flooring. With a smaller mirror, we are able to add in a light above the vanity. This helped the space feel bigger and updated with the fixtures and cabinet.
