Nicole Arnold InteriorsRoom by room, we’re taking on this 1970’s home and bringing it into 2021’s aesthetic and functional desires. The homeowner’s started with the bar, lounge area, and dining room. Bright white paint sets the backdrop for these spaces and really brightens up what used to be light gold walls.
We leveraged their beautiful backyard landscape by incorporating organic patterns and earthy botanical colors to play off the nature just beyond the huge sliding doors.
Since the rooms are in one long galley orientation, the design flow was extremely important. Colors pop in the dining room chandelier (the showstopper that just makes this room “wow”) as well as in the artwork and pillows. The dining table, woven wood shades, and grasscloth offer multiple textures throughout the zones by adding depth, while the marble tops’ and tiles’ linear and geometric patterns give a balanced contrast to the other solids in the areas. The result? A beautiful and comfortable entertaining space!
Krieger + Associates Architects, Inc.A new small addition on an old stone house contains this breakfast room or casual dining room leading to a renovated kitchen, plus a mudroom entrance and a basement-level workout room.

Mia Rao DesignA niche between the kitchen and dining room was turned into the dry bar. Dressed up with a patterned tile backsplash and soapstone counter, it is the perfect spot to prepare cocktails for guests.

David Bauer, Cornerstone Builders of SW FlLarge Built in sideboard with glass upper cabinets to display crystal and china in the dining room. Cabinets are painted shaker doors with glass inset panels. the project was designed by David Bauer and built by Cornerstone Builders of SW FL. in Naples the client loved her round mirror and wanted to incorporate it into the project so we used it as part of the backsplash display. The built in actually made the dining room feel larger.
HDR Remodeling Inc.This sun-filled tiny home features a thoughtfully designed layout with natural flow past a small front porch through the front sliding door and into a lovely living room with tall ceilings and lots of storage.
Stalburg DesignThe dining space is an easy gathering spot when coming in from an afternoon of lake activities. All of the materials and fabrics used are durable for kids and guests who may be wrapped in towels and running in with wet flip flops. A poly rug anchors the round Noir Dining Table and Four Hands black leather dining chairs. The family photo wall makes everyone feel welcome!
