The Cleary CompanyThe new kitchen has ample space for both countertop worksurface and cabinets for storage. A extra large island features a gorgeous live edge wood countertop. Exposed wood beams and black iron lighting fixtures offer a welcome contrast from white walls, cabinets and perimeter counters.
The new open concept first floor plan takes full advantage of lake views and allows for large gathering of family and friends.
Guenther Designs & Consulting LLCA view from the focal point of the kitchen the stainless steel range and hood flanked by casement windows. We added some hand cut wood brackets under the upper cabinets. The farm sink is centered on a window looking out to the pool and golf course beyond. The 48" wide refrigerator has a custom panel insert painted to match the brown in mosaic tile back splash. Note the same tile used for the backsplash is used as the fireplace surround. We wanted to provide a sense of continuity between the two spaces.
Create PerfectThe new open-plan kitchen and living room have a sloped roof extension with skylights and large bi-folding doors. We designed the kitchen bespoke to our client's individual requirements with 6 seats at a large double sides island, a large corner pantry unit and a hot water tap. Off this space, there is also a utility room.
The seating area has a three-seater and a two-seater sofa which both recline. There is also still space to add a dining table if the client wishes in the future.

Ivywell Interiors | BristolThis open-plan kitchen diner is the hub of the house. We kept the country Cotswolds feel but incorporated some contemporary elements to update the decor, playing with the colours that the owner particularly loves, blue and green. The large round table fits up to 10 people, ideal for large diner parties from day time to evening.
Alexander KitchensNobilia Kitchen in Angmering, West Sussex
This kitchen design and installation is a recently rephotographed project that took place in Angmering, West Sussex. The design of this kitchen has been optimised to suit its location within the house and importantly the customer’s brief, which was to create a space that was social, spacious, homely and a sweeping link between the centre of the home and the garden. An impressive addition to this kitchen is the beautiful copper accents which represent a growing trend in kitchen design at the moment. Thanks to a number of impressive kitchen copper additions this theme is cleverly combined within kitchen appliances and design features.
Kitchen Furniture
The kitchen furniture used for this project is from one of our German supplier Nobilia’s most premium ranges: Lux. The Lux range is aptly named. Its composition utilises a quality lacquer which creates a flawless high-gloss finish and is extremely durable when usual kitchen use is inflicted. The gloss effect Lux range was chosen to reflect the client’s wish of a light kitchen space, with the gloss door fronts bouncing light around the room to create shimmering kitchen space.
The two colour choices Satin Grey and Slate Grey combine perfectly with the use of copper accents, bringing balance to the space. A key feature of this kitchen space is the media area which has been highlighted and surrounded by luxurious glazed glass units and deep pan drawers for storage, which themselves have been upgraded throughout the kitchen to glass sided uprights for extra strength and style.
Kitchen Appliances
Along with kitchen furniture and cabinetry, careful selection of kitchen appliances were chosen for this kitchen not just to match the overall style but to match the necessary daily uses of the customer. The large bank of tall units houses not only cooking appliances, but integrated refrigeration and freezing appliances integrated seamlessly into the furniture. This bank features three ovens from cooking enthusiast inspired manufacturer Neff, in the form of two Slide&Hide single ovens and a Slide&Hide combination microwave oven. The fourth appliance in this appliance grid is a wine cabinet from manufacturer CDA which enables the powerful cooling of up to twenty-four Bordeaux wine bottles.
On the longest run of units in this kitchen a Siemens IQ700 induction hob features in the unique stainless-steel finish, which is not only a stylish and in keeping appliance, it offers several innovative features like intuitive touchSlider operation, flexible induction zone cooking and fryingSensor technology. The most stylish appliance in this kitchen however, is undoubtedly the beautiful Elica Dolce cooker hood, which not only harnesses powerful extraction of cooking fumes but continues the classy copper theme further throughout this kitchen.
Kitchen Features & Accessories
To meet the brief of the customer this kitchen had to be functional, meaning clever storage solutions are included throughout this kitchen. An example of this is the pull-out Dispensa storage from Kesseböhmer which feature either side of the main bank of appliances and enable a small amount of space to harbour useful storage capacity. A Quooker flex boiling tap is used above a Blanco undermounted Silgranite sink which makes a safe boiling water supply accessible from the same faucet as usual cold and warm water.
As part of the installation of this project our electrical team have installed copper pendant lighting centrally above the island, increasing the ability for this kitchen to work as a social space with touch flip plug sockets used in several places for easy access to power. Our Gas Safe registered team have also installed a full-height radiator which is shown in a contemporary grey shade matching the kitchen colour scheme.
Nobilia Kitchen in Angmering, West Sussex
This kitchen boasts so many desirable kitchen features in one space, with the design making the most of every inch of space to fit the initial brief of the customer. In Summer days the kitchen flows out to the large garden through expansive bi-fold doors which show the full beauty of this kitchen design and installation.
In many ways this kitchen epitomises the type of work we are able to undertake, using our various fully employed tradespeople to complete plumbing, electrical, carpentry and flooring work.

Crickett KinserThis hillside unit with a view of all of beautiful Ventura was in desperate need of a remodel! The kitchen went from a tiny box to the entire width of the common space opening up the room to an open concept floor plan. Mixing glossy laminate doors with an ultra-matte black door, we were able to put together this bold design. The fridge is completely concealed and separating the pantry from the fridge is a walnut-look wine stack perfect for all the entertaining this couple plans to have!
Alexander KitchensReimagined Trend Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex
Situated in a quaint Horsham Close this project undertook more than just a kitchen renovation, with significant ancillary and building work undertaken to create a flowing kitchen diner space for the client.
The most important element to this project was space. The client had a vision to combine a smaller kitchen area with a dining room that didn’t function as they wished to use it. The previous layout of this property meant that the client did not end up using the dining room to its full potential, which with the our input has now changed dramatically.
Achieving this not only required the work of our expert designers but an array of our installation team who specialise in this kind of internal building work. With their experience a small archway between the kitchen and dining room was transformed into a wide, blown open space that would soon function as an open-plan kitchen diner for the client. Alongside the internal structure of the property a full plaster of all walls was also undertaken to achieve a show home like finish, ready for the customer to put their personal touches into a kitchen and dining space.
Kitchen Furniture
With a blank canvas achieved thanks to the internal shake up, the client was free to implement their dream kitchen space, leaning on the timeless combination of Cream shaker furniture and sparkling white worktops. To create a well-balanced kitchen space supplier choice was key. Although taken by the shaker style kitchen door, the client also desired a slightly contemporary twist that would help maintain a subtle present-day feel. For this aesthetic, supplier Trend was a perfect choice. Utilising their vast range of modern shaker style options, the eventual choice of a foiled matt shaker was selected in the light neutral colour option of Ivory.
Upon deciding the general theme of the kitchen furniture, it was then up to kitchen designer George Harvey from our Horsham showroom to make the most of the space with a layout that would facilitate this client’s initial brief. One of the most impressive elements of this project is the peninsula island space. Recessed slightly into and around the previous dividing wall, this space gives storage, surface space and the flexibility of casual dining. The remaining kitchen furniture is used in an L-shape and also houses the majority of kitchen appliances. Wall units are used to disguise a boiler, integrated extractor and to provide extra storage space above.
To keep the kitchen theme undisturbed integrated appliances have been used where possible, with an integrated dishwasher, washing machine and integrated extractor hood all disguised behind the Ivory door fronts. All appliances throughout this space have been installed by our qualified team with plumbing and appliances connected as part of the project.
The main appliance choices that the client had to make were in regard to cooking appliances, where they sought a combination of capacity and flexibility. A built-under double oven gives capacity with two cavities to cook from in, an appliance that also incorporates a neat LCD display and easy clean functionality. Flexibility when cooking has been fused into the cooking appliances with a four zone N50 hob from our renowned appliance supplier Neff, giving the option of instant and powerful cooking to the client.
Kitchen Accessories
Various accessories have been used across this project to maintain the theme, each providing a blend between the traditional kitchen style and the contemporary feel that the client desired. A neat inclusion is the traditional Belfast sink which is one of the classic kitchen elements that client specified for this project. It is matched with a contemporary chrome mixer tap from German supplier Blanco’s Max range and shows just one instance where a fusion of styles has been used in this space.
The worktops selected are from Silestone, a quartz worktop manufacturer which utilises up to eighty-percent natural quartz in their worktops. Using quartz worktops not only gives a great aesthetic, it means that surfaces are highly resistant to heat, impact and they are also non-porous so are impervious to water. To bring a glittering shine to this project the popular Stellar Blanco has been used in thirty-millimetre thickness to give a beautiful gleaming appearance.
Kitchen Features
With extensive building work being undertaken this was an ideal opportunity for the client to replace general features while the work was taking place. With our experienced installation team on hand flooring, heating and lighting improvements have been made. Radiators have been replaced with two full height radiators from supplier Eastbrook. Both radiators were selected in a Matt White finish with useful towel rails incorporated on the kitchen radiator to dry tea towels after use.
With plastering and decorating taking place, our electrician has seamlessly installed downlights and pendant lighting above the island area to bring well-spaced lighting options. To bring ambient lighting in the evening undercabinet spotlighting is included beneath wall units and to complete the installation, Warm Oak Karndean flooring has been fitted throughout the kitchen space as well as other areas in the property. For easy cleaning a transparent glass splashback has also been included above the induction hob area.
