Officine GulloTwo Officine Gullo Kitchens, one indoor and one outdoor, embody the heart and soul of the living area of
a stunning Rancho Santa Fe Villa, curated by the American interior designer Susan Spath and her studio.
For this project, Susan Spath and her studio were looking for a company that could recreate timeless
settings that could be completely in line with the functional needs, lifestyle, and culinary habits of the client.
Officine Gullo, with its endless possibilities for customized style was the perfect answer to the needs of the US
designer, creating two unique kitchen solutions: indoor and outdoor.
The indoor kitchen is the main feature of a large living area that includes kitchen and dining room. Its
design features an elegant combination of materials and colors, where Pure White (RAL9010) woodwork,
Grey Vein marble, Light Grey (RAL7035) steel painted finishes, and iconic chromed brass finishes all come
together and blend in harmony.
The main cooking area consists of a Fiorentina 150 cooker, an extremely versatile, high-tech, and
functional model. It is flanked by two wood columns with a white lacquered finish for domestic appliances. The
cooking area has been completed with a sophisticated professional hood and enhanced with a Carrara
marble wall panel, which can be found on both countertops and cooking islands.
In the center of the living area are two symmetrical cooking islands, each one around 6.5 ft/2 meters long. The first cooking island acts as a recreational space and features a breakfast area with a cantilever top. The owners needed this area to be a place to spend everyday moments with family and friends and, at the occurrence, become a functional area for large ceremonies and banquets. The second island has been dedicated to preparing and washing food and has been specifically designed to be used by the chefs. The islands also contain a wine refrigerator and a pull-out TV.
The kitchen leads out directly into a leafy garden that can also be seen from the washing area window.
Davonport Kitchen & HomeThe spice cupboard built into the cabinetry around the range cooker is a prime example of how bespoke design can result in optimum storage. The positioning of the spice cupboard makes the contents easily accessible when cooking; as with any kitchen, the main thing to consider is the ergonomics of the room. Simple details like this can make all the difference in terms of how easy the kitchen is to use.
Higham FurnitureThe colour scheme in this kitchen creates a balanced and inviting atmosphere. The cabinetry in Little Greene's Three Farm Green brings a rich, deep hue that anchors the space, while the walls in Slaked Lime Mid provide a soft, warm contrast, ensuring the room feels bright and open. The oak island and ladder rail, stained with Colron Jacobean Oak Wood Dye, introduce a natural, earthy element that complements the green cabinetry. This choice of stain highlights the wood's natural grain, adding depth and warmth to the space. The Broadleaf Timber Classic Oak Parquet flooring enhances the room's cohesive feel.
Higham FurnitureA Black Everhot 150 is set within the shaker run, framed by a curved chimney breast and a small oak mantle finished in Rubio Monocoat White Oak. The cabinetry is painted in a light green with 30mm honed Carrara marble surfaces. Hardware throughout is Corston Kilburn in Antique Brass, with knobs to doors and pull handles to drawers and integrated appliances, maintaining consistency across the elevation.
Creative Wood KitchensA contemporary-country kitchen dream, for grounded and peaceful living. Soft neutrals, natural textures, and carefully crafted details— Nothing loud—just thoughtful, tailored design.
This quaint and pared-back kitchen features a mix of soft painted beige and natural wood elements in classic in-frame shaker cabinetry. Antique brass handles, open-honest shelving and a Belfast sink build on to the homely farmhouse aesthetic, whereas features such as the minimalist wood hood and shadow-gaps between the ceiling reigns it all back into to the 21st century.
A space which offers homely warmth and contemporary refinement together in perfect balance. A kitchen designed to feel lived in, loved, and lauded.
The Myers TouchA large picture window at one end brings in more light and takes advantage of the beautiful view of the river and the barn’s natural surroundings. The design incorporates sophisticated cabinetry with plenty of storage for crockery, larder items, fresh ingredients, and ample storage for their children's toys. For it to be a multi-functional space, Jaye’s layout includes a dedicated area to facilitate food preparation, coffee and tea making, cooking, dining, family gatherings, entertaining and moments of relaxation. Within the centre of the room, a large island allows the clients to have easy movement and access to all the sustainably conscious integrated appliances the client wanted when cooking on one side and comfortable seating on the opposite side. A venting Hob is located on the Island due to the high vaulted ceiling and more importantly, our client could keep an eye on the children while cooking and preparing family meals. The large island also includes seating for the family to gather around for casual dining or a coffee, and the client added a fabulous peachy pink sofa at the end for lounging or reading with the children, or quite simply sitting and taking in the beautiful view
