Jaeger & Ernst Custom Cabinetmakerslog cabin mantel wall design

The skilled custom design cabinetmaker can help a small room with a fireplace to feel larger by simplifying details, and by limiting the number of disparate elements employed in the design. A wood storage room, and a general storage area are incorporated on either side of this fireplace, in a manner that expands, rather than interrupts, the limited wall surface. Restrained design makes the most of two storage opportunities, without disrupting the focal area of the room. The mantel is clean and a strong horizontal line helping to expand the visual width of the room.
The renovation of this small log cabin was accomplished in collaboration with architect, Bethany Puopolo. A log cabin’s aesthetic requirements are best addressed through simple design motifs. Different styles of log structures suggest different possibilities. The eastern seaboard tradition of dovetailed, square log construction, offers us cabin interiors with a different feel than typically western, round log structures.
Simply Home DecoratingThis tiny home is located on a treelined street in the Kitsilano neighborhood of Vancouver. We helped our client create a living and dining space with a beach vibe in this small front room that comfortably accommodates their growing family of four. The starting point for the decor was the client's treasured antique chaise (positioned under the large window) and the scheme grew from there. We employed a few important space saving techniques in this room... One is building seating into a corner that doubles as storage, the other is tucking a footstool, which can double as an extra seat, under the custom wood coffee table. The TV is carefully concealed in the custom millwork above the fireplace. Finally, we personalized this space by designing a family gallery wall that combines family photos and shadow boxes of treasured keepsakes. The Furnishings are drawn from a wide range of cultural influences, from hand-loomed Tibetan silk rugs to English leather window banquette, and comfortable velvet sofas, to custom millwork. Modern technology complements the entire’s home charm.
This room is an office/ guest bedroom/projection room. The projector screen recesses in the ceiling.- Drapes adds privacy when needed for overnight guests - The millwork hosts closet and other storage needs.

Touie, Inc.Located in the desirable San Francisco Bay, CA this room is full of family memories. It blends European, Asian and African elements creating a rich and culturally diverse look.
The client has lived in Spain for many years and wanted the room to be casual, comfortable with pops of color. They have traveled extensively throughout the world and collected a few furniture pieces, rug and home accessories that were required to be incorporated into the space.
We decided to bring the most memorable elements and enhance the color scheme with bold, bright and soft hues of reds, yellows and grays. In the end, the room became a true reflection of the owners’ eclectic taste, personality and life history.
The atmosphere is rustic, yet coexists harmoniously with some modern elements. An invitation to enjoy and relax just like when they were living in Spain.

Classic Interiorslaure Burt did this den as an upstairs hide-away for quiet reading and reflection. She hid the tv behind lovely leaded glass doors in the white bookcases.

TV Lift Cabinet by Cabinet TronixCabinet Tronix, specialists in high quality TV lift furniture for 15 years, worked closely with Nadine Homann of NHIdesign Studios to create an area where TV could be watched then hidden when needed.
This amazing project was in New York City. The TV lift furniture is the Malibu design with a Benjamin Moore painted finish.

Das Design dieses Penthauses stellt eine Mischung von minimalistischer Architektur und persönlichen Kunstwerken dar, die auf Reisen gesammelt wurden. So wurde eine harmonische Synergie von Funktionalität und Ästhetik erreicht, die diesem kompakten Raum seine Energie und Ausstrahlung verleiht!
Bei dem Konzept haben wir uns auf Lösungen konzentriert, die den Stauraum im Verborgenen halten und nahezu vollständig auf Türen verzichtet.
Der Durchgang zum Schlafzimmer ist mit vom Boden bis zur Decke reichenden, getäfelten Schränken ausgestattet, darunter 2 versteckte Soft-Close-Türen zu den Badezimmern. Türgriffe sind nicht Teil dieses Designs und das funktioniert perfekt!
