Хотелось максимально визуально расширить небольшое пространство квартиры, при этом организовать достаточные места хранения. Светлая цветовая палитра, зеркальные и стеклянные поверхности позволили это достичь. Использовались визуально облегченные предметы мебели, для того чтобы сохранить воздух в помещении: тонкие латунные стеллажи, металлическая консоль, диван на тонких латунных ножках.

:thatstudio chartered architectsA modest single storey extension to an attractive property in the crescent known as Hilltop in Linlithgow Bridge. The scheme design seeks to create open plan living space with kitchen and dining amenity included.
Large glazed sliding doors create connection to a new patio space which is level with the floor of the house. A glass corner window provides views out to the garden, whilst a strip of rooflights allows light to penetrate deep inside. A new structural opening is formed to open the extension to the existing house and create a new open plan hub for family life. The new extension is provided with underfloor heating to complement the traditional radiators within the existing property.
Materials are deliberately restrained, white render, timber cladding and alu-clad glazed screens to create a clean contemporary aesthetic.
Architetto Cristina MarchiQuesta coppia ha deciso di trasferirsi in centro per dire addio alla macchina e avere tutto a portata di bicicletta. Ha dovuto però restringere le proprie ambizioni di spazio concentrando ogni funzione. Gli arredi sono stati studiati per essere utilizzati sia in occasione di cene con gli amici, sia per cenare sul divano la sera comodamente davanti alla TV. Le pareti gialle sfumate e realizzate direttamente da Paola tra il soggiorno e il corridoio che porta alla zona notte sono le protagoniste cromatiche del bilocale, ravvivando ed esaltando l'eleganza e neutralità del grigio che caratterizza il resto dell'arredo.
Наталия Кацуцевичюс. Для пола была выбрана керамическая плитка UNICA Terre d’Orcia, выполненная в стиле старинных итальянских декоров - чуть затертая, с налетом времени и местами выцветшим рисунком. Получившийся интерьер выглядит эклектично. Современная мебель соседствует с антикварными и винтажными предметами. Много времени мы провели на блошиных рынках, выискивая старинные вещи “с характером”. Люстра конца XIX века удачно дополнила интерьер. А камин был найден и привезен из Болоньи. Портал камина антикварный, середины XIX века Ludovic XVI “Kannellure”, выполнен из мрамора Sarrancolin, который считается одним из любимых мраморов короля Ludovica XIV. Камин называется “chemine bebe” и специально разработан для установки в маленькие комнаты.
