Arc cocoonLa chambre de votre bébé est un véritable univers où il va grandir, jouer, s'épanouir et où vous allez passer ensemble des moments inoubliables.
Couleurs, motifs, meubles, lit, lumière, déco, tous ces petits détails comptent pour beaucoup lorsqu'il faut créer tout un monde où la tendresse domine et où votre enfant va grandir.
Pour la rénovation de cette chambre, je devais trouver une solution d’aménagement afin de placer tous les éléments nécessaires pour accueillir un nouveau-né.
La problématique était que celle-ci est très mansardée, et très petite, en loi carrez elle fait moins de 7 m2. La pièce pourra accueillir par la suite un bureau en remplacement du lit de bébé, et un lit d'enfant prendra place au niveau de la table à langer. Il est essentiel de tenir compte des évolutions futures.
Afin d'apporter une impression de grandeur, j'ai conseillé à mes clients de peindre le lambris en blanc et d'y apporter des couleurs claires. Une note de bleu acidulé amène une touche ludique à l'ensemble.
Guggenheim Architecture + Design StudioThis nursery was part of a larger remodel of an attic space which included the hall, master bedroom and bathroom. Light-filled on even the most overcast days, this Portland residence is bright and airy with balance of natural materials playing off a white backdrop. Custom storage has been added throughout the addition tucked into the sloping eave spaces. Room for stacking and multiple drawer depths make storage very versatile. The corner bookshelf is great for toys, books or for a cup of coffee on one of those early mornings. The glass inset door allows borrowed light to spill into the hallway.

Des linéaires de rangements suivent deux murs et forment une alcôve au-dessus du lit. L'espacement entre les rangements du bas est prévu pour intégrer un lit une place dans le futur.
Une bande lumineuse est incluse dans la longueur du meuble haut, afin de créer un éclairage d'appoint, doux, avec une intensité réglable. Les rangements bas peuvent également servir de banc ou de support pour jouer.
Des couleurs douces accompagnées de bois créent une atmosphère douce, très enfantine et indémodable à la fois, pour une chambre destinée à accompagner sa petite occupante tout au long de son évolution.

The scandi colour scheme drifts upstairs and is supporting with more pattern and colour.
Elliday Studio LLCI designed this rocking whale for a couple expecting their first baby. Their style is a mix of modern and traditional with touches of Scandinavian style. I wanted to pull this danish-modern look into their nursery by designing a clean-lined modern take on the classic child's rocking horse. The whale body is made of high quality baltic birch plywood with just a touch of color to accentuate the eyes and water spout.
