Poppy Noble Interior DesignThe lounge in a beautifully renovated barn was in diamond need of some TLC. It was dark and ill used.
Once the beams were lightened and a vellum was fitted the room started taking shape.
This L-shaped room needed to be re configured. Creating a library area with bespoke shelving and a seating area opposite has given this part of the room a new lease of life.
Making use of all of the nooks and crannies has meant that the room has a few choices of area to sit. The deep return to the right of the fireplace was crying out for an accent chair, shelving and floor lamp.

We will see more botanic and green tones that take us back to the Art Deco period. Retro harmony appears in the blend of colours like light grey, red, dark coffee and brushed brass. Dusty rose and dusty grey paired with brass for a refined and slightly retro
colour story.
Heavy textiles and colours are mixed together for a rich look playing the undertones of the Art Deco style.
Florals are combined with branches and stem to give a sense of structure to floral patterns, and vary from curvilinear and flowing to stiffer placements.
Angie Schwab Interiors LLCUsing the existing space we incorporated style and design choices to achieve the client's preferred eclectic style. After the space was emptied the maple floors were given new life with a complete refinish. We designed custom cabinetry that was then made by local Amish craftsmen. A combination of stained cherry and painted maple cabinets are used and five different countertop surfaces were installed. Careful thought was given to a balance of black and white with the warmth of the wood tones and the textured stone.
